Owner upgraded our room for free which makes our day!!:) Really convenient and comfortable stay

Room had a heater so it was nice and warm. Everything as pictured, homestay is fairly new, been around for 2+ years. Do note that the bed is on the hard side, seems like the preference in this part of China. Owners are friendly and helpful, felt like going to a friend's place to stay. Offered local fruits while they were eating. Homestay also provides lots of small items that you might need e.g. down jackets, sunhats, umbrellas, very thoughtfully done. It's also located near the perimeter of the ancient town (where cars are not allowed) so it's just a short distance to drag your luggage along the cobblestone streets. Highly recommended!

This Inn was recommended by my colleague and I was definitely not disappointed! The accommodation itself is conveniently located in the ancient town so it's near many shops, restaurants and services. Its look is modern, spacious but also quite cozy too. It's clean, has hot showers, electric blanket and all the amenities you really need to stay and explore Shangri-La. July (the owner) and her dog ChiChi are what makes this Inn so special. Communication is easy and she is very friendly to talk to. Her English is perfect, so this place is great for English-speaking foreigners wanting to visit and stay here. She goes out of her way to help you in any way she can. In my case, she recommended places to go and how to get there, places for Covid tests and arranging my ride back to Lijiang Airport. I suggest anyone to stay at Snowlake Inn :)

One of my favorite places to stay! This is such a little gem. The location is great and close by to everything! The hosts went out of their way to help us! You can do your washing for free; they serve delicious coffee and they can help with any trips / transport between Shangri-La and Lijiang. They can speak English which is really helpful for foreigners! I cannot recommend this place enough! Thank you for making our stay so great! Just down the street from them is a great restaurant called The Olive Bistro with delicious food and great breakfast!

Great stay in central location. Room was big and bed was huge. Shower was luxurious. The host was very helpful and could speak very good English. A fabulous stay.

Nice room decoration and warm in room in winter time, finally can take a hot shower after a tiring day. Staff was super nice too.

Pics online are exactly what you see in person. Lovely manger July and her dog Chi chi. Would return! She even cooked dinner as low season/CNY.

Excellent place, would definitely go back again!

I live on the first floor, with a small balcony at the door. The proprietress has a lot of flowers and plants, and the small yard is very quiet and warm. The room is also large and clean. The experience is perfect💯

The hostess at the B&B is very hospitable and friendly. I stayed there for three nights. It was very comfortable and the environment was beautiful. It was very cost-effective! I recommend everyone to stay here.

The location is great, the small courtyard is very comfortable, the proprietress is very welcoming, she also invited us to drink coffee and borrowed cotton clothes for free. Disposable towels, bath towels and toilet mats are also provided, very satisfied!

Lovely accommodation, similar to a warm home. The owner of the house is friendly, hospitable, and takes good care of his guests. If there is a maid who cleans the room every day. It would be much better. Finally, Chee Chee the dog is cute. We went out all day so we didn't get to play together much.

The location of the inn is very good. There are restaurants in the streets in front and behind it in 5 to 6 minutes' walk, as well as ******* clothing experience + travel photography service. The overall visual feeling inside the inn is comfortable and warm. However, the stairs are not very user-friendly🥹The spiral hollow staircase has to carry the suitcase up the stairs (fortunately, the lady in the inn helped to carry it up)😂The recommendation is quite high and it is worth staying.

The room is generally OK, the details are well done, all items are disposable, and most importantly, the shower is very good and comfortable to use. Thumbs up
