The hotel is located only 2 minutes away by feet from the north gate of Dukezong Ancient Town. When arriving at Shangri-la by train, you can take bus number 1, which costs CNY 2 to get to the hotel. If you are a foreigner like me, you might get a little confused to find the place - just refer to the picture I shared with the sign on the hotel "Bodhi-Cita Vegan Inn"l, and follow the map. The check-in process was quick. The room was comfortable and clean, with a very nice warm blanket that made me sleep well. The owner and his family take great care of their guests. They will cook a delicious traditional breakfast for you, and make sure you have everything you need during your stay.

I had a really enjoyable stay here! I am a young female solo traveller, and this place was extremely safe and welcoming. The inn was easy to find and conveniently located close to the north entrance of the Dukezong Old Town, which I felt was very important. The rooms were also quaint and comfortable. What left the strongest impression on me was the owners of the inn (it’s a family-owned and -run business). They gave me tips for how to travel to different tourist sites around the city, and also prepared breakfast every morning. They also drove me to the train station when I left as well, which was very nice of them. Definitely worth the stay!

Hosts were super friendly. Picked up up from the bus depot drop off and dropped us off at the airport without charge. Super family feel - which was the highlight. Location is really convenient. Thank you!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is located in the heart of the old city, a stone's throw away from restaurants, cafes and interesting museums and shops. The host is very friendly and made a big effort to make me feel very welcome. The room was in the traditional style and catered to all my needs. Furthermore, the hotel is in a quiet back street, so no problems with noise / getting to sleep. I have no hesitation recommending this place, in fact I plan to stay here again when I next visit.

The hotel is close to the North Gate, so it’s incredibly convenient. We initially had difficulty locating the hotel because it was off on a side street, but we were able to contact the hotel owner and he quickly came to help us with our luggage. Overall, the hotel is full of charm! The hotel owner was incredibly kind and provided us breakfast every morning (this included the butter tea, which was delicious!). The owner also had the fire on every evening when we returned to keep us warm. Our room had a heated blanket and a separate room heater to provide much needed warmth for the cold winter temperatures. The stairs leading to room were steep, but the owner helped us bring all our luggage to our rooms. We would come back to this hotel again if we were to return to Shangri-La!

When I booked the room, I didn’t notice that the room in this B&B did not have oxygen supply equipment. I also didn’t expect that my partner developed high reflexes after arriving at Shangri-La. She was very uncomfortable, so I had to go to the pharmacy to buy oxygen and high reflex medicine. In addition, there was a drainage problem in the bathroom in this room. After taking a shower, the entire bathroom was filled with water. It was very inconvenient to go to the toilet or the washbasin. I wanted to ask the boss to borrow tools such as a broom and mop to deal with it, but he did not contact me. On top, I had to drain the water by myself, and it slowly flowed down. It was really uncomfortable.

This is a family room that I booked for a friend. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to take pictures because I had to rush to travel. The space is large and the stay is very comfortable. The detailed evaluation is in another note. Friends who like it can refer to it. This place carries our four-day fun trip to Shangri-La. It is really important to have a good rest after a day of fun. It is very convenient to stay in the ancient town. This small courtyard is the best choice.

The room is quite stylish, and the boss's attitude is also good. However, in winter, there is no air conditioning or heating and it's cold to sleep in. There is no hot water and I can't take a shower.

The boss is really honest and kind. The inn is very unique, each location has its own style, hair conditioner is available, and the equipment is very complete. The heater is very cute and warm. The boss will prepare breakfast according to our wake-up time, which is really considerate (*^ω^*). The room keys are very special and beautiful. There is also a guzheng, piano, study room, and tea table in the inn. ! It’s really unique and looks great wherever you take photos. Looking forward to the boss Napahai’s new inn ~ I will stay there next time! !

The room is made of wood and has a ******* style. I wanted to stay in this kind of room when I first came to travel. The owner is a local and is very hospitable. He took us to experience many ******* characteristics. Young people have similar interests and we have become good friends~

The house in the ancient city is very close to the north gate, but it is difficult to find in the alley. The house is relatively old, with a wooden floor, loud walking noise, easy to be noisy when sleeping, and there is a bathroom heater that is still half-hung from the roof. The boss is more enthusiastic, but we didn't let them pick up and drop off, and we didn't have breakfast because of the time problem. There is a guzheng in it to play, and a lamb, which children like.
