Friendly staff, cozy environment, surrounded by small restaurants. Only 3-400 metres walk from the North gate. The staff can book the taxi for you on your departures. *** They can speak English. ***** Room is large, bed is comfort and shower area is clean and nice. Stay at the place and travel back in time to ancient Lijiang.

location is very good, not too noisy like the Dukezong Town but it is walking distance to the town. Lady boss is very friendly and help to carry our three 28inch luggage. The balcony view is amazing.

Room has no heater. Room is huge and has lots of nearby eateries.

The hotel is well located in the old town. The room is spacious and similar to the pictures with all commodities but it’s not so clean. The blanket and the sofa were not clean. Everyday we had new bottles of water and the bed was done. You can also wash your clothes. The taxi for the airport was free thanks to the hotel. The staff tried to help us even if we don’t speak chinese.

There is a big temperature difference between day and night in Shangri-La. I went there hoping for the floor heating, but when I got there I found out there was no floor heating. I felt cheated, so I didn't feel very good.
