This hotel is the reason why I made the trip to Yunnan, and it surely did not disappoint. Everything is just like the pictures. It’s the best location for a serene getaway, with a fantastic view that exceeded my expectations. Next time, I would definitely stay for more than one night.

Fantastic view from the room and very quiet and comfortable hotel. Excellent chef and front desk staff speaks very good English, free shuttle to old town for the accommodation.

Good service. The stuff can speak English. The manager owns two horses and he can give you and teach you how to ride. You can have a delicious dinner there and drink local beers. They take you around the city and drop you anywhere you need. The breakfast is not bad (we foreigners have different preferences) . The room is quiet and clean. Stunning landscape.

The hotel is at the foot of the snow-capped mountains. I originally booked a three-bed room, but later I was given a family room. When I woke up in the morning, I looked out the window at the grassland, which was very comfortable. There were lambs, alpacas, ducks, and white rabbits. The children had a lot of fun, and the adults were also suitable for a daze there. The hotel has a car that can take you to the ancient city, which is very convenient.

The scenery outside the hotel is very beautiful, and there are many small animals that children like. However, in the afternoon, many tourists who are not staying here come in to check in and take pictures, which makes the guests feel very noisy. The facilities and hygiene of a homestay at this price should be better. Many people who come here are families traveling, and the towels are black. Fortunately, I bring disposable bath towels for children. The floor of the bathroom is worn in my own slippers when taking a shower, and I dare not step in barefoot at all.

As a popular hotel, it is not bad, but there are too many people. Basically, tourists can come to check in by buying a cup of coffee for 60 yuan. The experience is much worse when there are too many people. If you want to visit tourist attractions, there are people everywhere, and the privacy of the hotel is poor. Tourists are passing by your room door and playing. It would be much better if the boss considers only letting guests in the hotel enjoy the service. It is undeniable that the scenery is indeed good, but the room facilities cannot keep up and there are too many people.

The manor is on the Napa coast, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the waiters are warm and generous, the yak hotpot in the restaurant is very authentic, and there is an Internet-famous cafe in the manor. We stayed there for two nights and were reluctant to leave. We will come again next time!
