Jingyue Luxurious Homestay Reviews

We stayed for 4 nights and it was a very enjoyable experience. We were upgraded to a starry night room and it was interesting to be able to view the night sky in the room. There was night time drinks (ginger tea or warm milk) served nightly. During the day, they also offered coffee or fruits if we passed the reception area. Room was cleaned well daily. It felt clean enough to walk about the room barefoot. We booked this hotel as we were concerned about developing altitude sickness and noted that the hotel had oxygen supply facilities. Thankfully, we did not require it. We did not notice during booking that the room did not have AC and was shocked when the staff offered to bring us a standing fan as it was a hot day, after showing us our room. Luckily, it was much cooler in the night, and we could rest well by keeping the air ventilators ( so that the cool air from outside could be brought into the room) on throughout the night. What we appreciate was that the owner was a no nonsense kind of person and was not salesy. He did not try to sell any tours nor drivers to us even when we enquired. He simply mentioned the cost and left it for us to decide. Location was good. Hotel was accessible by car and just 5 steps from the old town. Lots of food options, convenience stalls and other amenities available. We will definitely stay back at this hotel or the owner’s other hotel at our next visit.

The location is in the old town 300 meters from the main attractions and just 10 step outside the pedestrian area. This is a plus because a taxi can drop off and pick you up in front of the hotel. The owner is keen to feel you home, he has tried in any way to adapt the Chinese breakfast to our taste. Every night they have offered hot milk to relax before sleeping. They have in room oxygen and humidifier, bathrobe in addition to towels and comfortable beds. In the end it is a nice place to stay and I will recommend

The boss is very nice and helped us upgrade to a starry sky room for our entire stay. The room is spacious and clean. There are also 4 cats and a dog (Yuanbao) on the first floor which are super cute and friendly. The location is very convenient as it’s within the Ancient town and there’s food everywhere we go. The boss even made breakfast and provided us with warm milk and ginger tea every night. Would stay here again next time!

We had a lovely stay here; The family room was great and the hosts were nice. It is just a short walk to the old town

Owner is thoughtful to prepare special breakfast for us who are not use to local breakfast. Also , we had local cow milk prepared by owner to warm our body and to have a good sleep. Location is good too. Overall a good choice.

We really enjoyed our time at this hotel. The owner is very kind and thoughtful - he wanted to accommodate Westerners and we really appreciated the thought. The breakfast was delicious (we enjoy Chinese breakfast!) and the owner put a lot of heart into his cooking. The hot shower was perfect at the end of a cold day sightseeing. The location is right near the ancient city, but still quiet enough for a good rest. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing hotel that is beautifully themed! Staff is very friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have a pleasant and memorable stay! Absolutely enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it!

The room is very clean, comfortable and warm, with good sound insulation. The boss is very nice, helping with luggage, very warm and thoughtful, with excellent service attitude, satisfied and highly recommended! !

The location is excellent, in the bustling Dukezong Ancient Town, it is quiet and convenient to go anywhere. The seller's service is very thoughtful. I have severe altitude sickness, and he brought me a medical oxygen concentrator late at night! There is breakfast, good night ginger tea, pick-up/drop-off service, which is thoughtful and considerate. A very satisfactory stay.

I booked a room for one day first, and the boss upgraded the night view king room for free. I renewed the reservation for two days on the same day. The room is very large, 58 square meters, with reasonable regional planning and design. There is an oxygen concentrator in the room. When I arrived at the ancient city that day, my girlfriend had altitude sickness, and the little brother instructed how to use the oxygen concentrator, which immediately relieved the symptoms. There is a large bathtub next to the window, and you can see part of the night view of Guishan Park. The big bed room has a skylight, and you can see the starry sky or the rain. The service is in place, there is a pick-up service or a drop-off service, and the little brother and the boss are super enthusiastic. The homestay is located in the center of the ancient city, only three or four hundred meters away from Guishan Park, and it is convenient to order takeout. There is good night milk every day. The store can charter a car to go to various attractions for convenience, and the price is reasonable. You can discuss with the boss.

The hotel is in an excellent location. It is a must-go place to enter Dukezong Ancient City. It is convenient to go anywhere. There are dogs and cats, which are very cute! The sanitary environment is very good, and the shower gel and other toiletries are all branded. The breakfast ingredients are all cooked by the boss himself, and there is milk ginger tea to drink when you come back in the evening, which is very heartwarming. The boss is very familiar with the surrounding attractions. It is cheaper to find the boss to experience the project than on the Internet, and it also includes pick-up and drop-off. The most satisfying place in Yunnan! Highly recommended!
