Excellent
Stay was perfectly awesome. Rooms and amenities were superb. Staffs are friendly and amicable. Had a wonderful getaway from our mundane life. ‘Twas indeed a beautiful experience away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Great stay with family and will highly recommend to friends and families. Such a nice hotel! Kudos!
This hotel is beautiful, clean and offers great amenities. The manager, Chamath was very professional and accommodating to my needs which I very much appreciated after a long day of travel. The rooms and common areas were clean and well cared for. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
GGuest UserMy child's basketball team was staying here, but due to another engagement, I couldn't arrive until midnight. I called ahead to ensure I would be able to get in and the person who answered the phone was friendly and assured me I could get in. When I arrived after midnight, the night clerk was super friendly (nice after a very long day) and we had a nice chat while we were doing the paperwork. The complimentary breakfast was a notch above the usual - there were even scrambled eggs and bacon! Also, you spend a lot of time waiting around for tournaments, and I was sitting outside. One of the cleaning staff came out for her break - she also was very friendly and we had a good conversation until she had to return to work. I would have to say this hotel had the friendliest staff I've encountered for long, long time - really impressive. The room was clean and in good repair (I'm guessing this is a fairly new hotel). I liked the walk-in shower and there were lots of towels. The bed was comfortable and the HVAC wasn't noisy. My single complaint, and it's pretty minor, is all the lights (including lamps) were bright ”white light” which was a bit harsh at 12:30am. A ”yellow” light lamp would have been nice. In any case, this will definitely be the hotel I stay at on my next trip to Red Deer.
GGuest UserSpent 10nights here, staff very friendly and helpful. Our fridge didn't work but we were given a new one the same day. Bed was clean and comfortable, while the room was of an acceptable cleanliness. Water was really hot with towels and toilettries beingregularly changed.Breakfast was great, plenty of unlimited options. We had to extend our original stay and it was arranged with no issues. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
Wwzimmerman2121We had the best stay at days inn Red Deer. Rooms were very clean and staff were very friendly and nice. We were in town visiting family and the location was great for everyone to visit. We will definitely be back!
BBridgit DTraveled to Red Deer this past weekend and discovered our usual hotel had botched our reservation and did not have a pet friendly room for us. Called the HIExpress to find out the price for a pet friendly room including pet fees and while it was slightly more than our usual hotel, we decided to go ahead with it because we were so tired. They did not provide us with an itemized breakdown of our bill at check in but assured us the pre-auth amount was the grand total plus a $100 security deposit. On check out their system was down and they said they'd email the receipt so we were shocked when our total bill was $200 than we were quoted at check in for our total. Our dogs were crated the entire time they were in the room and they were never left unattended so it couldnt be for damages and we confirmed our quoted price included pet fees three times before we checked in but now they're claiming the extra $200 is for pet fees - again?! So basically we paid $50/night on top of their advertised rate on their website (and slightly more again than on Expedia/Hotels.com) PLUS an additional $50/night to have a pet friendly room. Sketchy business practices. Huge lack of disclosure. Steer clear.
GGuest UserWe stayed here while in between moving house, the hotel staff are super nice! The room was clean and the beds were comfortable! We were super stoked that the aircon was freezing as it was boiling outside. Didn’t use the gym or pool but lots did and seemed to enjoy it from what we could see. Would stay again
GGuest UserRecently stayed overnight and the hotel was lovely. Receptionist was a friendly and helpful guy. The room was extremely clean and the temperature was great - I usually find rooms too hot or cold , so this is important to me . The bed was comfy!
