The manor hotel was renovated from a former monastery. The rooms are simple and elegant, and the bathroom is large enough. It has its own parking lot. The restaurant has good food. The garden is large and you can relax in it.

We absolutely loved our stay. The setting is incredibly peaceful, and the birdsong, sunset, and views are lovely. The buffet breakfast was ample and delicious. The service and staff were outstanding. I wished I could stay longer. Definitely hope to return!

My husband and I spent four nights at Certosa di Maggiano and it was one of the best experiences we have ever had. The grounds were stunning, the room was beautiful and the food was amazing. The pool was pristine and we spent a lot of our time there because of the weather, and it never appeared crowded or loud. The real stars of the show were the staff. They were all so friendly and accommodating, and after being there for a couple of nights, we got to really know them. If you can get a reservation for the Limonaia pizza night, DO IT. It was our favorite experience of the week, and maybe of our entire Italy trip, and are so happy they could fit us in. I would honestly take any negative review of this place with a grain of salt, because I have no complaints and don't see how you could. We were even looking at when we could book there again before we even left. 10/10 experience.

I’m at a loss how the reviewer below gave such a poor review of this hotel. We found it absolutely stunning, with an amazing pool and fabulous views from the gardens and pool. We loved the way you moved around the property, with different areas for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything was in perfect taste, including the room, with charming decor and a mix of antique, mid-century and modern furniture. The staff went out of their way to help, and were charming. The food was good rather than excellent - a couple of daily specials would encourage guests to eat in more perhaps. We’d stay here again with no hesitation.

Lovely ancient convent!
Love the decoration, the breakfast was lovely!
And the bar and barman really enthusiastic!
Its 10 min drive to sienna center, so there is not much around the place.

The hotel is not as described. Our daughter’s room flooded from the shower. We went downstairs to tell the reception staff and they said they would call the plumber tomorrow and gave my husband towels to clean it up. The view from the hotel and town not as described. Town is a drive and then you must park far if you can even find parking. The manager of the hotel said she would not give a refund for the rest of our stay but we left after one night. Very very overpriced for the quality of this hotel. I would not say it is more than 1 star! Very outdated and not what you are expecting from the description.
