We rented the Room 403 A & B. The rooms are poorly maintained. The Air conditioning unit emits a pungent sourish odour that permeates my entire room and makes all my clothes smell bad! The stench was overwhelming. Also, there was an issue with dampness caused by the air conditioner, resulting in condensation on the bedsheets and clothing which made the room uncomfortable. Paying for the room in cash at the reception is excruciatingly painful because they never have change and could not provide any! Numerous times and it never occurred to them to prepare spare change! Totally unprofessional. The only positive thing I can say about this place is Johnna the receptionist’s warmth and friendly attitude. The poor girl seems to be handling everything by herself and yet; she still manages to put a smile on her face.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong, an IHG Hotel, on June 1st, 2024, and overall, our experience was enjoyable with a few highlights and considerations. Check-in Experience: Check-in was smooth, and we were pleased to find that our request for connected rooms—a 2 Twin Beds Standard and a King Bed Standard—was accommodated promptly by the friendly staff. Rooms: The rooms were tastefully decorated, reflecting the Peranakan theme of the hotel. They were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with amenities that suited our needs. Having connected rooms was particularly convenient for our family stay. Breakfast: While the breakfast was included, we found it to be average compared to other offerings we've experienced at similar hotels. The variety was somewhat limited, and the quality was satisfactory but not exceptional. Service and Facilities: The hotel staff were courteous and attentive throughout our stay. They were helpful in providing information about local attractions and dining options in the area. The hotel facilities, including the rooftop pool and fitness center, added to our overall enjoyment. Overall Impression: Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong provided a pleasant stay with its comfortable rooms, convenient location, and attentive service. While the breakfast could be improved, the connected rooms and ambiance of the hotel made up for it.

It's my third time staying in these hotels. Since the nuve group is taking over as there is a $100 deposit upon check-in. I wanted to try out their skylight room with a bathtub as I requested for the celebration birthday. So nothing is changed to the request. It's just a free mini bar snack. For only one time. Even u booked for 2 days. Hope they can improve the anniversary and birthday celebration as the client requests on the email.

The room was clean and comfortable. The best part of staying at this hotel is its convenience for the small shops and restaurants nearby. If you’re looking for a quieter part of Singapore, I’d recommend this hotel in this area. Closest train station is less than a kilometer away. Would definitely stay again.

Very comfortable bed and pillow, decor very dated including bathroom. Shower was excellent though and the AC is super. Reception is tiny and in a different building to our room but only 100mtr away if even. Our room was very small but as it was a short visit it was fine. It’s quite a bit out from the city centre but excellent public transport very close.

I must say their attention to detail is top notch. We booked a Staycation here just after our wedding. Wasn't under any hotel wedding package but we were pleasantly greeted with a note & cake in our room. Amenities were all well maintained with a huge area for makeup & hair which I love. The view from the room was amazing, everything was clean & tidy. Not forgetting, the amazing breakfast spread is a MUST have!

To be honest it was the best hotel we stayed in. The staff was so considerate and kind. They even asked if we are celebrating any occasion and try their best to make it special . We were unsure about our next trip to Singapore but because of kind people and marina bay sands we wanna come again. The service and the staff is spectacular .

As per record, we have booked a connected room with River View for 1 double bed & 2 single beds for 3 nights. Upon arrival at the checked in counter, the staff by the name of Maria straight away offered us an upgrade of the connected room for the 2nd & 3rd night at the upper floor with a better view. But 1st night we have to stay at lower flr in a big room with 1 double bed & 2 single bed. We said OK and she checked us into Room 206. When we got to the room, we rest for a bit before we really check out the room. But my son was complaining about the room. Being the room are like an extended room for the room flr are build by wood and noisy when u walk. No centralised aircond but a split unit aircon which is not cold. Mattress are hard as if it's already more than 10years old. This room gave us a feeling as if we are some illegal immigrant. We went back to Trip.com to check the review and we found few customers are having the same experience. I've screenshot 1 of them and attached as photo. We went down to complaint & demanded change room to the room we booked in advance. And it's not our problem that they over sold their rooms & neglected customers who booked & pay in advance. Till the end, we get the room we booked but Maria claimed its VIP room which this room fits the description of the room we book. On the day we chevked out, Maria was on duty. Very bad attitude. No eye contact, no greetings, no thank you. She don't deserve to be assigned at the front desk.

Need improve: - The room is not so clean as there is some left over food spilled under the table at the time I checked-in. - The amenity is limited. No fridge and limited shower amenities. Good: - Location is in a good area. 7 mins walk to Orchard mrt using underground pass. 3 mins walk to the bus stop.
