ClubOrsa Chrysoula's Guest House

We recently stayed at this lovely guest house for a week. Wow what a beautiful place. Our room was stunning, bed was incredibly comfortable, very clean, great shower and an amazing terrace with comfortable bed chairs over looking the sea. Our stay included a continental breakfast which could be served in your room or on the picturesque terrace downstairs, it was delicious and plentiful. Although it was only a 5 minute walk to the hustle and bustle of the busy harbour and a 10 minute walk to the bus stops (which take you to all the beaches) the guest house is very tucked away and peaceful. There are plenty of restaurants on the harbour front but we chose to eat in the back streets away from the busy areas and quieter and there was some fantastic restaurants. The owner, Oriana was a lovely lady and a pleasure to meet. On our first day over breakfast she guided us as to where and what the island had to offer. Nothing was ever too much trouble throughout our stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our week.

We stayed at this superbly located guest house during Covid, before the rooms were refurbished... the sisters were amazing and provided us with an amazing breakfast bought to our room each morning (enough to make lunch from each day) and they went above and beyond to help me get a prescription without the need for seeing a doctor when I had a recurring water infection... what more could we ask... the new rooms look LOVELY and i long to come back and have the superior top room as we did before with the amazing balcony.

We stayed in three rooms at Club Orsa. All were extremely comfortable with unbeatable sea views. The breakfasts were very generous and perfect for us, and the location spectacular -- dramatic cliff-top position, close enough to the main part of town for easy access to shops and restaurants by foot, far enough away to get a bit of peace and quiet (though you can hear some late-night noise from the town in some, but not all, rooms). The staff and owners are all absolutely lovely -- extremely courteous and helpful; when we had to change our travel plans at short notice because our daughter was a little unwell, they helped us get somewhere to stay. And if you want a lovely food/drink experience but don't want the walk into town, the Salkimi restaurant (just up the hill from Club Orsa, a one minute walk) is absolutely fantastic -- comfortable, relaxed, panoramic sea views from a covered patio. This is a fantastic place in a lovely part of the world; we will certainly visit again!
