Solidaridad Hotels with Gym

Our stay was beautiful, I will not deny that. However it was not without a few letdowns. I am a woman who is all about a pool and was so excited to swim in the absolutely gorgeous pool I saw in all the photos online. I visited the week of Jan 1- Jan 7th and the weather was quite warm about 75 degrees every day. HOWEVER, the pool was absolutely FREEZING to the point where I was shivering being in it. Felt like an ICE BATH :( It was not enjoyable and with this being a secluded/ all inclusive hotel there weren't very much other forms of entertainment during the day except for the pool and the beach (the water was warm at the beach). It was so disappointing. I called the front desk to ask if anything could be done but they stated was no pool heater/temperature adjuster. We paid about 4 grand total for this trip and to be completely honest were only able to enjoy the pool once. My next complaint comes to the beach. We went to the beach which gets pretty bus. There was a day where every single chair was full and two of the hotel cabanas were being taken over by random street vendors - taking away two spots for the guests from the 100% packed beach area. These guys were NOT a part of the hotel and are the vendors who go around trying to sell cigars, etc. I watched the staff pass by them multiple times and say nothing while ACTUAL GUESTS had nowhere to lounge by the beach. That was very disappointing as these guys were laughing loudly, staring at guests, and did not move as people walked by looking for chairs. Other than that I will admit that the food was great, the staff was super nice, the hotel grounds were IMPECCABLE, the rooms were nice, everything else was quite lovely. But for the reasons listed I will not be staying at this all inclusive again, although you can still make the most of it and have a lovely experience overall. I'd recommend a stay if you're not going for the main reason of enjoying the pool and the beach.

one of the best hotel I have stayed, you have everything like 12 restaurants to eat and the pools and the place to do kayak and be on the ocean pools ara amazing its a nice resort with everything you can dream, amazing views and the restaurant the mercado san juan its amazing for breakfast its food all around Mexico you need a week to see the whole hotel, plus you have acces to all the parks of Xcaret we try the xenses and Xcaret at night its nice, everything for all the family better than the disneys resorts I think its one of the top 10 best hotels in the world, it has something for all kind of taste, from privacy to a lot of places for socialize. I will comeback again for longer stay its worth it.

The hotel is in the large park of Kaman Beach. There are many luxury hotels around. There are many golf courses. The hotel is a holiday nature and there are many recreational items. Please don't compare with the city business hotel. The balcony has bird droppings and the room has spiders. Normal, because the hotel is covered by the jungle, there are many flora and fauna, the breakfast is good, dinner is better, there are many restaurants and pools, the beach and sea are medium!

This review is long overdue, but we visited Secrets Maroma for the 3rd time in May. Once again this beautiful resort did not disappoint and keeps proving why we keep going back. This time we brought my brother in law and sister in law and they absolutely loved every minute of our trip. The rooms and grounds are as beautiful as ever. Everyone works so hard to keep it clean. One of the best things was seeing staff that was still here from our last trip 5 years ago. It was like going home to see old friends. Upon arrival we were greeted with a familiar smile by Daniel who handed us our cool towel and took care of our bags. Check in was very simple and we got to see another friend Paola who is now working in the front offices. While we were waiting for our rooms to be ready we went for lunch at Seaside and walked around the property. By the time we finished our rooms were ready and Vertiz our building concierge made sure we had everything we needed. Throughout the entire week Vertiz always checked on us and happily gave us anything we had asked for. Each morning we had no problem getting chairs by the pool and the concierges there were always helpful with getting setup. This is where we saw another familiar face, Bramdon. Always great to see him and meet his coworkers Francisco and Manny who always made sure we had our chairs and towels. We also had some great pool servers such as Alberto and Einar. The beach had some seagrass but they worked so hard from very early in the morning to clean it up. Now onto the food. Every meal we had was great and I could not say anything bad about any of the restaurants. The servers and managers at the restaurants are always checking to make sure everything is perfect. There are so many but a few we have to mention are Alba, Estela, Carlos, David at Seaside Grill and Juan the chef at Seaside for our special lunch he prepared with Alba on our last day, Pablo at Bordeaux, Alejandro, Lucio and Josua at Market Cafe, Luis the teppanyaki chef at Himitsu. Last but not least was the Entertainment Staff. They were so much fun and we got involved in so many of the activities because of them. Stephanie, Sebastian, Oscar, Sandy, David, Asdrubal, Memo and Matias thank you for making our trip extra special. So sad when you have to leave this wonderful resort but we will definitely be back.

I visited the El Dorado Maroma with my friend for a week in January 2023. Believe me, this is the best resort ever! I have stayed at many all-inclusive resorts in the Cancun/Riviera Maya area, and this resort outranks all others! The service is simply amazing, from the second you arrive until you have to leave. We absolutely loved Manuel at the beach, who greeted us each morning and walked out with us to help us find the perfect spot for the day. He didn’t just hand us our towels - he laid them out for us on the loungers or the bali bed chosen, then adjusted the umbrella so we could be in the shade, as we preferred. He then continued checking on us throughout the day and adjusting our umbrella as the sun moved. Talk about being pampered! He was wonderful! We also loved Little D (Diego) at the beach, who brought us drinks and made us smile - he seems so happy to be there! I can’t forget to mention the beach - it is the best beach of any resort I have stayed at! Clean, white sand, and so few people. That’s another great thing about this resort - no crowds!! It is small, quiet and relaxing. So peaceful! If you want a party resort, this is not it. It was perfect for us! Overall, you will not be sorry if you choose this resort!!! We loved it and will return again, hopefully soon, and hopefully with my hubby next time! I can’t wait to hear those wonderful friends tell me “Welcome Home”!

Jhon at Skybar 5th floor took good care of us. He was very pleasant and informative. We did visit the bar on several occasions and at one time it was very busy but Jhon managed to handle the rush professionally. We plan on Returning next year if all goes as well. I also want to mention that the food and service was exceptional. My only complaint is the elevators were too congested and very slow.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. We came for a friend's wedding in October 2021, and will keep out wedding-specific items for this review. There are many activities in the complex, but we came to see friends, hang by the pool, eat and drink. Overall this fit the criteria. During this time, it was still very humid, but perfect for being in the pool (not necessarily a wedding outfit!) Room service is convenient, but not always fast, especially late at night. I think 2 hours+ one evening for us. The room service food was better than some of the restaurants in my opinion. We didn't go on the beach other than for a pre-wedding party. They go through COVID testing when you check in.

My husband and I stayed at the El Dorado Casitas from Nov 23-30, 2024. We booked a second floor casita suite. We originally were in section 27. I think there are 7 sections 25-31. Sections 25-27 do not have swim up suites and therefore there is no lazy river. They have a small swim up pool just like the other sections, as well as the beachfront casitas. We moved to the second floor casita in section 28. This section had a lazy river- which I preferred even though we were in a second floor casita. Beautiful ocean view and view of our section. Big outdoor decks with double ged and table and chairs. Room was lovely. The bed was quite soft in first room but much better in second room. Outdoor shower was amazing. Bigger in second room. The bar fridge was not stocked daily. Sections 30/31 are for return visitors. Although the beach at Casitas is not great for swimming- we actually spent most of our time at the beach. There are king size Bali beds with a terry cloth cover and 2 loungers. They are well spaced with lots of privacy. No need to reserve early. Only one day over American Thanksgiving were they all taken by mid afternoon. The bartender from the pool will make sure you have drinks. It was quite lovely- and we typically are pool people. Room service was ok. Only ordered pizza and quesadillas. We ate at all 3 resorts. The Palms at Generations was right on the water. Excellent a la carte service. We ate breakfast and lunch there. The Chefs Market also at Generations was a very nice buffet for breakfast - much nicer than Cocotal at the Royal. Never tried breakfast at Santa Fe. A la cart at La Isla - poolside - Royal was great for breakfast. I would avoid Sunday buffet. Cabana Pizzeria - poolside Royal was excellent a la carte for lunch. We ate at Santa Fe, Italian, and Kampala ( Asian) all at the Casitas section. Also at at Habb (Indian) at Generations. I loved the Indian and Asian and my husband loved the Italian. Evening meals were very good to excellent. Service was excellent most nights. Did not enjoy the Mexican night at the Royal. We didn’t try Rincon Mexicano at the Royal - but it did look lovely. I should point out there is no where to get food to eat at pool or beach. I believe this is to try and keep the animal population control, which is a good thing. We did not do any nighttime entertainment. Not much happening at the Lobbies. We participated in the included snorkeling and catamaran boat ride at Marina beach. Although there is an El dorado resort there- you do not have access to the resort. There is a public entrance to the beach. The beach is absolutely amazing. The catamaran ride was ok. Big boat. Lots of people. Snorkeling was decent- but we have done many times before. Excellent pizza included at beach after snorkeling was done. Transportation was included- but we headed back to resort early. 23 American. Less than 15 minutes away. We did the on site horseback riding. 210 American for 2 of us. We were the only 2 that afternoo
