We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at M SuiteSorrento in the Palma suite. The photos on their website are accurate. A lovely apartment for self-catering with a stunning view. Check in is done at the sister property Hotel Mediterraneo. We were driving a rental car and it was a bit nerve wracking getting to the hotel property. After check in we were then given directions to where to park our car for MSuiteSorrento and charged 15E/day. Alternatively, you can park your car right on the street near the MSuites, but it is narrow and steep. From the designated parking area to the suite, it is a good hike, so be prepared to manage your luggage. Both rental suites are also up a flight of steps. We were greeted by Rita, the housekeeper. Note that the Agave apartment listed on their website currently has a permanent resident so is no longer a rental. We appreciated the welcome packet of beginning breakfast items. Having access to a washing machine was helpful. The Palma Suite is spacious with a bathroom that includes both an enclosed shower and a separate tub. Access to the terrace is both through the bedroom and the living room. We did not cook in the apartment, but liked having the mini refrigerator for drinks and coffee set up. One thing to note about this lovely apartment is the fact that it is about 20 min. walk in to Sorrento by way of a steep hill. You will want to locate the “shortcut to Sorrento” path which is near the parking lot. This pathway definitely will shorten your time; however, the steep path is filled with trash and litter. I would not feel safe trying to navigate this path at night in the dark. We walked in to Sant’Agnello two evenings for dinner. We didn’t feel there was too much to choose from for dining within walking distance. We had the Hotel Mediterraneo call us a cab to take us in to Sorrento one evening. Prepare to pay approx. 24E each way. In sum, a beautiful apartment with space to spread out as long as you are prepared to either walk a lot or hire taxis often.
