Bringing kids to Guangming? I definitely recommend this hotel!
The location is truly excellent. Phoenix City Station is right next door downstairs, and there's a shopping mall nearby. It's just two stops to the Science and Technology Museum and the Art Museum, making it super convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around!
They have a wide variety of parent-child themed rooms. We booked the Penguin Igloo theme this time. The room was very spacious, with a 2-meter king-sized bed and a child's bed, plus a 'secret igloo hideout' that the little one absolutely loved. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation and a large bathtub, perfect for the kids to soak in at night. The room also thoughtfully provided kids' cups, toiletries, and a booster stool. It's genuinely ideal for families traveling with children.
The hotel facilities are also great, including a gym, a heated swimming pool, and a laundry room.
We had dinner at the hotel's Chinese restaurant. When you're in Guangming, you have to try the Guangming Roast Pigeon, and it was so nice to be able to enjoy it right at the hotel without having to go out. The dishes were beautifully presented, and the taste was fantastic!

Since it was my birthday, they decorated the room and even provided a cake! I also received a free upgrade to a deluxe sea-view room.
I had afternoon tea at the hotel and noticed they've updated the menu. However, I still preferred the afternoon tea from June, I thought it was tastier.
Welcome fruit: A generous selection of fruit upon arrival.
Turndown service: The turndown service was as thoughtful as ever, with a lovely sleep spray and a very comfortable bed.
St. Regis Signature Butler Service: They delivered a welcome drink upon check-in.

Guest UserThis was my first stay at the Shenzhen Marriott Hotel, and honestly, it was a mixed bag – some good, some not so good. The staff at the front desk and in the restaurant were excellent, very friendly and helpful. However, the staff at the entrance and the bellhops were quite disappointing. They weren't proactive in assisting guests, and for a hotel, the first impression often comes from the entrance staff. This really detracted from my overall experience. The front desk staff were polite and said everything was fine, but the baggage handlers were truly awful. On the positive side, the dim sum at the restaurant was exceptional. So, if I ever consider staying here again, I'll definitely have to think long and hard about it. I honestly don't understand how a five-star hotel can have such a stark difference in service quality. For a first-time guest at the Marriott Shenzhen, it was certainly a memorable experience, but not entirely for the right reasons.

Jace38I had a wonderful stay at The Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen recently. The hotel is located in the heart of Shenzhen’s Futian district, a close distance to Futian high speed rail station.
We felt welcome from the moment we walked through the door with refreshing welcome drinks and friendly service. The checking process was quick and smooth.
We selected a room that had access to the club lounge. The lounge is excellent, with 5 meals a day provided. The quality of the food is high and the there is a varied selection to choose from. However, i would recommend going down to the main restaurant for breakfast.
What really made our stay great was the fantastic room service and general friendliness of the staff. While we were staying in the club lounge we were lucky enough to have Mandy take of us. She did an amazing job helping us with any help we needed. She was extremely professional and her communication in English was very impressive. I would definitely come and stay again, and hopefully have Mandy there to look after us during our next trip.

Guest UserWow! I'm really impressed! Even before checking in, a concierge contacted me with details about the location and available activities. On arrival, a staff member helped me with my luggage, and I even received a complimentary perfume. This hotel is perfect for couples and family vacations, and they really value privacy. I was told that walk-in guests aren't usually allowed. The hotel is divided into two phases; I booked a room in Phase 2, and the views were fantastic. Phase 1, with its beach, pool, and seaside kids' playground, is just a short walk away. If you don't feel like walking, there's a shuttle bus, which is super convenient. The best part? The hotel's Chinese restaurant is incredibly affordable! The prices for the dishes were genuinely budget-friendly – stir-fried choi sum for 10 yuan, steamed eggs for 10 yuan. The owner is really down-to-earth, haha! All in all, the experience was great, and the staff were all very polite. I couldn't get a speedboat booking, but a staff member gave me a gift instead, which was so thoughtful. I'll definitely be back next time to try a different room type!

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to UpperHills and Bijia Mountain Park. The room size is decent, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer great views. Breakfast variety is acceptable, with most essentials covered. Overall, the hotel service is quite good, but the breakfast restaurant service is very average. The biggest rip-off, though, is the hotel's spa. It's overpriced and the massage technique is terrible. I'd say it's the worst spa experience I've had at a five-star hotel! I felt like I was completely ripped off! A total waste of time, I hope everyone avoids it.

sanniyaI was truly impressed by the high-floor views. With a total of 100 floors, our room was on the 80-something floor, offering a stunning panoramic view of Shenzhen's nightscape. It was beautiful. As a member, our room was upgraded, and we also got to enjoy the beautiful scenery from the 96th-floor lobby at night, which was fantastic. The front desk staff, a girl named Kiki Fang, was very enthusiastic and professional, giving a clear explanation of the room.

Guest UserOur stay at the Qianhai Marriott Hotel was absolutely perfect, especially as we were celebrating our anniversary. The hotel's facilities are excellent, and the bay view is breathtaking. A special thank you to Cassie (3135) from the GR team. Upon learning that it was our anniversary and we had a special room setup request, she proactively connected with me on WeChat.
The initial communication was incredibly detailed and efficient. She thoughtfully assisted us with an upgrade to a premium bay view room and coordinated a beautiful anniversary room decoration, complete with fresh flowers and an exquisite cake from the pastry kitchen. My girlfriend absolutely loved it! Every detail showcased JW's care for its guests. We had a very satisfying experience and this will be our top choice for future business trips and getaways with my girlfriend.

The front desk service was great. The hotel's washer and dryer were very powerful, and the facilities were quite complete. The staff were very kind and friendly, even greeting me. They even upgraded my room for free! If my friends and I come back to Fanshen, I will definitely recommend this hotel. Thumbs up! 👍👍👍

YelianghaogeqiuPros:
1. Location. It's incredibly convenient! Take Metro Lines 1, 2, or 8 to Window of the World station. Take exit A (specifically A3), turn left without going above ground, and you'll emerge directly into B2 of Yitian Holiday Plaza. From there, take the direct elevator to L2, exit the elevator, turn right, and head towards the end of Zone A to find the hotel lobby. (If you exit at B3, you'll be in the plaza's food street, which is small and crowded).
This means during summer or rainy weather, you have one-stop access to transportation, dining, and shopping, all indoors!
In the opposite direction of Exit A is Exit J of Window of the World Plaza. No need to cross the street, it leads directly to the main entrance of Window of the World.
2. View. Our room directly faced the main entrance of Window of the World, offering a great view for firework shows (though there wasn't one at 9 PM on the Saturday we stayed!).
3. Service attitude was pretty good.
Cons:
1. The lobby is small.
2. Room facilities are outdated.
3. The carpet was dirty.
4. Some areas of the room weren't clean enough.
Summary: The location absolutely wins, especially during summer or rainy days.
