Guest UserThe front desk staff were quite incompetent. Check-in took forever, and then my friend's room key didn't work. Another friend found a welcome card for someone else on their table upon entering their room. My room was a corner room, which they didn't even ask about, but they were very pushy about getting us to upgrade. We upgraded, and the service was still terrible. Then, at check-out, we thought it would be quick, but a young woman struggled for ages before calling over her colleague. We thought there might be an extra charge, but then she somehow pulled out someone else's room cards, claiming they didn't match ours. Couldn't she just ask us what our room number was? We gave her two room cards, and she somehow ended up with three! We were in a hurry to catch a flight and told them so, but she still fumbled around for ages. Plus, the kettle in the room was broken, and when we asked for a replacement, that one was also broken... It was an ordeal all afternoon; we couldn't even take an afternoon nap. I can only say the hotel is all show and no substance; the interior is rotten. Also, it seems like they sprayed a lot of disinfectant in the room when cleaning, and the windows don't open for ventilation...

This Aria in Budapest has been in my mind for many years. It is in a very good location in the city center. You can reach many attractions on foot. The hotel has its own style, elegant environment and good service. It is worth staying.

TsinEX1997The room is incredibly spacious, even larger than suites in many high-end or luxury hotels. The service is excellent, and the breakfast pastries are top-notch. This is an absolute gem of a hotel, highly recommended! 👍

The hotel is located in the city center. There are shops around. You can walk to the attractions. After all, Budapest has many attractions.
Service: Overall, I am very satisfied. Every staff member will ask if you need help and take the initiative to help with the luggage. The plane arrived at the hotel at about 10:30 in the morning. I waited for more than 10 minutes before the room was given to me.
You must also choose breakfast. There are not many types of breakfast, but they are very delicate. Every dish is very good. There are single dishes and buffets. Breakfast is in the hotel’s own Michelin restaurant on the first floor.
Talk about the shortcomings: I booked a Matilda Suite, but I was given the most basic king-size bed room? ? ? I didn’t react until the third day of my stay, so I didn’t negotiate with the hotel.
The hotel is not large, but the facilities are very new.
The sanitation is still quite satisfactory. Some places that are not easy to see need to be cleaned! Overall, it is still recommended!

The Marriott's location is absolutely fantastic, but the room size was surprisingly small, and the bathroom made me feel like I'd stepped into a 3-star motel! Perhaps because of the location, our river view room offered beautiful views of the Danube and Chain Bridge, both day and night. Plus, Pier 7 is right downstairs, making boat trips super convenient. However, on weekend nights, the downstairs dance bar doesn't quiet down until 11 or 12, and you can still hear the noise even with the windows closed. If you're sensitive to noise, you might want to consider that, but the view truly is excellent. The hotel's front desk staff were very helpful and even booked a taxi for us to the airport. Overall, the service was great!

The hotel provides water dispensers with fresh drinking water available daily, which is very convenient and contributes positively to overall comfort. In addition, fresh juices are offered, providing a pleasant and refreshing option throughout the day. It is also worth highlighting that there is a selection of desserts available without added sugar, which is a thoughtful and health-conscious offering. Furthermore, the bus stop is very easily accessible on foot and offers quick and convenient connections to the city center, making it simple to explore the area without the need for a car.

Guest UserQuick check in and check out. Daniel checked us both in and out.
Room was clean, but a little small, housekeeping was very good.
Breakfast was good, food quality good, egg station good
Hotel location behind the main road, so was quiet and peaceful. Hotel facade and historical interior was beautiful, it was formerly a bath house in the 1800s.

The idea of staying in a castle monastery is appealing, especially if you prefer a quieter side of Budapest. The room was pleasant, but not overly luxurious. The breakfast was simple, and the music was too loud when I woke up.
The location wasn’t convenient for me, and the monastery experience didn’t live up to my expectations. I stayed on the other side of Pest and had a much better time.

Guest UserThis hotel is fantastic! The staff are so warm and friendly. The New York Cafe is right next to the hotel's ground floor, which means you don't have to queue for a table during your stay – super convenient, especially in peak season. We also had breakfast there, and the selection was incredibly rich and varied. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Anonymous UserCheck-in time was flexible; we arrived early and were immediately given a room to rest, which was a huge plus for those arriving on early flights. Our standard room was on the 5th floor, a typical hotel room setup with good natural light and plenty of sunshine. The mattress was incredibly comfortable. In contrast, the bathroom had a much more distinctive design. A highlight was the small spa pool on the basement level, which had a unique vibe, wasn't crowded, and was very relaxing. It's complimentary for guests. While the hotel breakfast didn't have a huge selection, everything was relatively tasty, especially the Hungarian baked eggs, which were exactly to my liking. The staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended! PS: There was a wedding party on the day we checked in, and the music was quite loud at night, but fortunately, we couldn't hear it much from the 5th floor.
