The ***ager of the restaurant was kind, but I ordered a local beer, but they brought an imported beer without explanation and drank it as if it were local. I had an oil massage at the spa, but the masseuse's skills were too weak. I applied for a taxi at the information desk- I confirmed the fare to the temple and boarded it, but the taxi driver's toll fee from the price suggested by the hotel [This must be pre-set in the taxi fee]- The next day, another car went to a place without toll fees [Parking lot entrance fee and parking fee - this is You must inform the customer in advance and tell the taxi fare/ A special agreement with the taxi company associated with the hotel is required/

The front desk service was very good, but the business was very bad. To the hotel, don't let early check in understand, the front desk asks for the price, go to the restaurant to buy breakfast, the price of the restaurant is not the same as the price given by the front desk. When I checked out, I wanted to use the hotel's car to go to the airport. I asked the front desk for a price. I thought it was a little more expensive than Ola. It was okay. I said that I had a good meal and ordered it. After I came back, I changed the front desk. The price has changed. It is more expensive than Ola. Doubled. Early Check In, the hotel began to strictly demand that you can not check in early, must be 2 pm, after communication, helplessly understand, then go out for lunch, come back to 12 noon, found that the hotel even gave another pair of white couple check in, but also provide A towel and welcome drink. I didn't have this at all when I checked in. The above shows that hotel management is very confusing. The security guards greeted each other with enthusiasm. Breakfast is not expensive, but meals are average. The room hardware is very good, the air conditioning is also very powerful, but the refrigerator is very old, very noisy in the general heritage of the manor. The hygienic situation only looks beautiful, and if the wooden floor is stepped on, it will soon be dark. There are also a few large flies flying in the room, hey, a little disgusting. Overall, the price is not bad, that is, the front desk is very annoying, and the health situation is not equipped with hardware.

There was so much to like about our stay in this huge sprawling estate on a hill. Location and view superb both from our room and restaurant and pool - a place to rest after visits to temples etc. Also lots of hotel life to enjoy so not too isolated. The staff were super. Special mention to Munusamy at the pool who shared his knowledge of birds with us during the morning early walk and when sitting by the pool, plus Kim in the restaurant - nothing too much trouble and great charm. Also thanks to our polite and professional driver from the hotel for railway station journeys. Thanks all. Only pain was not allowing auto rickshaw up when coming back from the city. Means swaps and waiting around and in one case rather comically another rickshaw driver taking us up the extensive hotel road. Also as no ATM at the hotel think money and also bit of a pain getting smaller change. Apart from that all v v good.

Stayed at the Grand Madurai twice. Once in Jan 2025 and then again in Feb 2025. Impressed by the hospitality of the GRT group. Also, had the pleasure of having a 90 minute couple massage at the Bodhi Spa in the hotel. Pranav, Yemti, made sure (as also a few others) we had a comfortable stay. The bonus is also the happy hour from 11 am as 6 pm. We had a room but because of our busy schedule could not take advantage of the room at night… days were very well spent.

Great hotel to stay. Interiors done very artistically and tastefully. Maintained very neat and clean too. All amenities provided as promised. Prompt services provided as and when requested. Front desk staff was helpful and courteous. Buffet breakfast served in restaurant had a good spread and awesome food.

Property is located in a optimal place for my local visits. Accessibility to property entrance was clean and nice. Food was excellent with good combination of varieties. It had a ample parking space. Amenities at room are ok, but not to the mark of the price. Front office staff and other staff were courteous

Clean and hygiene rooms with good ambient. Staffs are friendly and eager to helping others. Wi-fi, kitchen with minimum need. One suggestion if possibleput a small refrigerator in kitchen added.

Clean well maintained stay. Spacious room with ac, geyser, tv and also a fan. Missed the room kettle-coffee-tea facility. For this price that would be added. Though located very near the maatuthavani busstand, it is quite calm. No sounds of hussles and bussles.
