Amazing
GGuest UserThis newly renovated hotel in 2024 has a great mountain view. It costs about 1,400 yen to take a taxi from Atami Station. There are many highlights of the stay experience: the panoramic view is amazing, free drinks are available, and the tea rice for breakfast is my favorite. However, when dining, I found that the olive oil had expired for four months, which is really inconsistent with the hotel's positioning. Although it was replaced in time after feedback, such omissions still make people doubt the quality control of high-end services.

FFenyuanqiqiThe entire hot spring hotel's courtyard is beautifully designed, with various stone lanterns throughout the courtyard, named after the stone pavilion. We stayed in an independent villa; the room was spacious, and walking along the stone path was very pleasant. Hotel staff helped with our luggage. There's also a public open-air bath. It seems the men's and women's baths are the same each day. There are also two private baths available for about 45 minutes for 1500 yen; the one on the left, Imaihama, is larger. Dinner and breakfast are served in the banquet hall, with reserved private rooms. The service and ambiance were impeccable, but the food was somewhat ordinary and not particularly impressive.

KKEVINLEEThis hotel offered exceptional service, sophisticated design, and breathtaking ocean views. Its overall quality far exceeded my expectations, truly going beyond imagination. 1️⃣ Design Style The hotel's design closely mirrors high-end onsen ryokans like Kyukamura and Hoshino Resorts, embracing a light luxury, minimalist, yet grand aesthetic. The sense of space is remarkable, blending modern elements with a relaxed, Japanese resort ambiance. 2️⃣ Attention to Detail The hotel's meticulous attention to detail is truly impressive: hidden TVs, smart home controls throughout, and a private, temperature-controlled, auto-filling hot spring tub on the balcony are all incredibly practical. The mattresses and bedding are from premium brands, and even the restaurant uses WMF cutlery. These details show that the hotel isn't just focused on appearances; it's genuinely committed to perfecting its offerings. 3️⃣ Hospitality and Experience The overall operation demonstrates a sophisticated approach to hospitality. The hotel covers the taxi fare between the JR station and the hotel, and the mini-bar in the room is entirely complimentary. While these are small touches, they highlight the hotel's dedication to enhancing the guest experience. 4️⃣ Dining Experience Breakfast follows a refined Kaiseki-style with a French rhythm, served course by course, with the entire meal lasting nearly an hour. The dishes are few but of excellent quality, truly a 'small but exquisite' culinary journey. 5️⃣ Service Experience While Japanese hotels generally offer good service, this one particularly touched me. Nightly turndown service, the staff's consistent smiles, the omelet chef at breakfast proactively delivering dishes to our table, and the patient and detailed assistance from a Chinese-speaking front desk employee all made the entire stay incredibly warm and pleasant. 6️⃣ Location and View The hotel boasts a convenient location with an almost unobstructed, front-row ocean view. The most enjoyable moments were soaking in the private hot spring on the balcony, gazing out at the sea – truly a quintessential vacation feeling. Overall, this is a high-end hotel that strikes an excellent balance in design, service, views, and quality. The experience is almost flawless. If you're planning a trip to Atami, it's definitely a top choice. 💯 A perfect score for this hotel.

GGuest UserI checked in on the hotel's opening day, so it felt very new. The onsen area offered ramen and ice pops, and the lounge had complimentary drinks. However, it was a bit of a shame that none of the staff spoke English, which caused communication problems. The breakfast was very plentiful and delicious.

11881736****The room was spacious with a fantastic sea view. The breakfast leaned more towards a Japanese style. The only slight drawback was the hotel's location, which was a bit out of the way, requiring a 15-minute walk to reach the commercial area and the beach. However, the hotel's ground floor had a large convenience store and souvenir shop, both well-stocked, which somewhat made up for the slightly inconvenient location.

MM49314****I really loved the room and its environment, facing the sea, I could watch the sunrise every day. The facilities and hygiene conditions were pretty average. There are three public indoor and outdoor hot springs available for use. The hotel has two guest room buildings with a very long corridor in between. To get to the hot springs or dining, you need to switch between different elevators. When I first checked in, I wasn't familiar with the layout and it was easy to get lost. The dining service was good; both breakfast and dinner were buffet-style with a rich variety of food, though there were slightly fewer fruit options. During the summer, it was crowded, so there were queues to be seated and to get food.

11391808****This hotel offers stunning hilltop views of the sea, especially beautiful at night. Make sure to take a taxi from the station, as there's a very steep hill to get there. The hotel service is excellent, and the place is clean and tidy. We booked a corner room with dual-aspect windows, and it even had a bathtub. Enjoying a drink on the balcony while admiring the night view was a highlight. There's also a fantastic teppanyaki restaurant at the foot of the hill (no English menu, though) that's delicious and reasonably priced.

CChuchuanchangIt only takes about 15 minutes to walk to the hotel from JR Atami Station. You can see the hotel when you go down the second step to the seaside road. The room is quite ordinary, but very clean. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry. It is recommended to book a room on the 2nd floor. The hot spring is also on the 2nd floor and the lobby is on the 3rd floor. Breakfast is Japanese style. It is recommended to book a room with breakfast. If you need dinner, it is recommended to go to the restaurant on the second floor around 19:00. Orders cannot be placed after 20:00. There is a Lawson supermarket about 150 meters away from the hotel. I personally feel that the food is not very rich. You can see the sea from the room, and it only takes 30 minutes to walk along the seaside to Atami Port. From Atami Port, you can take a boat to Hatsushima. The one-way ticket is 2,800 yen. There is a road behind the beach, and across the road is Atami Ginza Street, which has many restaurants.

FFenyuanqiqiOn our second day in Atami, we switched to the Resorpia Hotel by the sea. Since we were coming from another onsen hotel, we took a taxi directly to the 1st floor. Guests can only access this hotel by walking down from the 9th floor on the hill. The location is fantastic; we could see the ocean right from our room's balcony. The next morning, we could even watch the 'Tangerine Sea' sunrise 🌅 from bed. The public bath is on the 5th floor. It's a bit of a shame there's no open-air onsen, so you can only enjoy the view through the window while bathing. The hotel offers a shuttle service to Atami Station, but you need to book it in advance. The facilities are a bit dated, but the hygiene is still very good. Overall, it offers decent value for money.

KKunduSouravThis is a traditional Japanese Ryokan style hotel. All instructions are in English however, means there are foreigners regularly staying here. There is a open air onsen (hot bath) which is very pleasant. Must be reserved in advance. Drinks can be bought at 200 yen a pop. This is a fully unmanned Ryokan meaning it self check in and self checkout ! The rooms are very small (4 meter square) which barely fits a bed. Pictures on the travel sites about the rooms in this hotel are deceiving ! The location is sort of OK from Kinomiya station but it's quite far from Atami city center and Atami sun beach . We took at taxi which was 1200 yen. Kinomiya Jinja is 25 minutes by foot.
