I only stayed at JW Marriott Nairobi for one day, but it was more than enough to make a great impression. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and made everything feel easy and comfortable.
The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and very well kept. My room was spacious, cozy, and thoughtfully set up, with a lovely view of the city. It felt like the perfect place to relax, even with such a short stay.
I also really enjoyed the food — everything I tried was fresh and well prepared, and the atmosphere was calm and inviting. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d happily stay there again, even if just for a quick visit.

This is a relatively new and luxurious hotel in Nairobi. Security is very strict, with security personnel questioning guests at the entrance, dogs checking for explosives, and even armed security personnel checking bags in the lobby. However, there's no need to worry about security; it's purely a government requirement. The staff at the hotel are very nice, from the front desk to the concierge and the restaurant. Everyone is friendly and willing to help with any questions.
The hotel has comprehensive facilities, including table tennis, darts, a gym, and an outdoor swimming pool. The restaurant offers a rich breakfast and excellent coffee.
The hotel's location isn't very central, so there are no restaurants nearby. You can either dine at the hotel or take an Uber to the nearby village market, which offers both food and shopping. It's very convenient.

We loved staying at this hotel which is absolutely steeped in history. Staying here feels like taking a step back in history and the art deco design of the bar was just gorgeous. However, it was the staff that really made our stay memorable. They made us feel special and welcome from the moment we walked into the hotel. It just happened to be my birthday and they went out of their way to make it feel so very special. In particular, Kanja and Christine, were just fantastic and made us feel very welcome. Thank you so much for going above and beyond!

Guest UserPros: My family and I stayed for one night. I recommend this hotel. It has 24-hour security, beautiful modern design, hospitable staff, and a large, comfortable room. We had dinner at the panoramic Troy restaurant on the 8th floor; I suggest trying the fish and lamb.
Cons: The pool needs a bit of renovation.

It was my first time to stay EKA. I arrived 8 hours before check-in time, having made a booking for one night. Unfortunately, my connection flight was on the same day, meaning that I wasn't spending a night in the Hotel. So grateful to have been allowed early check-in at no additional cost. A plus on flexibility of hotel management. Staff were generally warm, professional and willing to help. I will certainly be back!

hitode814This is a hotel owned by Chinese capital. Breakfast is delicious Chinese food. The building and facilities are old, but clean. The shower water pressure was weak, which was inconvenient.

Nice hotel. More upmarket than others. Very clean and offers a good service. I would recommend they do some more maintenance however, especially with the men’s steam room. It’s quite run down.

JIONGThe environment is very good, if only some wild animals are raised. Breakfast is good, set breakfast and dinner, barbecue for one night to watch the show, European dinner for one night. Both are pretty good. At noon, it will be resolved next to the shopping mall. Not too many guests, suitable for vacation.

All hotel employees are very nice and willing to help.
Except for a young man at the reception, I've never experienced anything like that before, something so unpleasant. That was the only negative thing about my stay.
