Great
GGuest UserStunning rooms! The place is bang on the middle of the jungle, so there are bugs and frogs etc, just be aware of that.
Right next to a cenote! It’s on a motorway and you cannot really walk anywhere so you need a car or moped etc, as it is pretty far.
Theee is a small jacuzzis and a sauna, which they try to charge a prohibitively high price for…. Considering it is the only amenity the hotel has this should be free.
Bedsheets need an update. Have stains and rips.
I still think it is an amazing place to stay especially for the price!
GGuest User⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Excellent hotel, it exceeded my expectations. The facilities are spotless, clean, and very comfortable—perfect for relaxing. The staff is very friendly, always attentive and willing to help, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The value for money is excellent. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
GGuest UserOur 6th trip to the Cancun area, first stay here - wonderful experience. Wonderful, attentive staff. Beautiful beach and reef. Snorkeling was good - beautiful fish, coral regrowing in the outer reefs. Food quality was better than hoped for - lunch seems to be the best option with dinner being a close 2nd.
Appreciated the attention to the Turtles laying and hatching- had a specialist come in nightly to protect and clearly mark areas to keep them safe.
Dive shop was great - needed a pair of socks to keep fins from rubbing blisters - they ordered them overnight for me.
Restaurant staff are lovely. Room attendants are great - loved the towel art!!
Will return!!
RRonzoFamily of four (including 2 teens) stayed at the Conrad in room 3307 for one week. We had an ocean-view, 2 Queen room and opted for the Ceiba Club. The room was one of the better-sized and laid-out rooms we have enjoyed on vacation.
The facilities were fantastic and we enjoyed the activities offered throughout our time here. The gym was never busy and the daily activities we found to be accessible.
The bay in front offered very good snorkeling with several large reefs that held many schools of interesting fish. We also saw rays of various sizes out there too, which was exciting. Beach chairs were always available, which was a surprise, as we read that it could be problematic.
Food and drink at the Ceiba Club were worth the extra cost. We lived out that the first several days that the resort wasn't busy, so Ceiba offered à la carte food from the restaurants. We also benefited from Hilton Gold status, so we were able to rotate two of our family through the amazing breakfast buffet at Arbolea.
We had dinners at Marakea (Mediterranean) and Autor (Michelin Mexican restaurant). Both were good, but Autor stood out.
Would return for sure.
GGuest UserThe hotel is pretty and clean, I can tell it’s newly opened. But the staffs definitely needed more training. The pool is pretty small, you can’t really swim in there. The jacuzzi was out of service, they don’t provide towel at the pool, even if you asked, they said they were going to get it but they never came back. Service is poor I would say.
BBeta0415Excellent room and surroundings. The balcony is spacious and directly facing a sunset. There are two restraunts and two public pools for amenities. Great staff, great food, great facility. The hotel is bigger than it looks. Good price overall, though the beech might be a little far for people who didnt rent bikes/cars.
DDidiOur stay at Tago Tulum was simply outstanding! The hotel itself is a paradise – the rooms look even better than in the photos, with spacious layouts, beautiful decor, and that perfect blend of luxury and Tulum’s bohemian style. The beachfront view and peaceful ambiance made it the ideal place to unwind.
What really made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional service, especially from Victor. He took care of everything we needed, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless and enjoyable. Victor’s warmth and attention to detail made us feel right at home – a true gem! Tago Tulum is a must for anyone visiting Tulum, and we can’t wait to return
GGuest UserUnfortunately, we didn't get a room at the Alea Hotel. Upon arrival, the hotel was empty and clearly unoccupied. There was no one to talk to or any sign on site. We tried for an hour to get in touch. Eventually, someone from the neighboring hotel came. We checked in there. The room was a bit smaller, without a TV, and not directly on the beach as booked. The walk from the main road is a disaster. It's incomprehensible that there's no solution. There are so many hotels on that road. A taxi isn't really an option because it's very expensive. The food was quite good, but the selection was rather limited. Breakfast was rather spartan.
Actually, very nice hotels with very friendly staff. Wonderful for unwinding and relaxing. Not a great beach resort. Water shoes are absolutely necessary.
A beautiful place with its quirks.
GGuest UserWe had an overall wonderful experience for our 7 days spent at Hotelito Azul! We went with another couple and each stayed in the Oceanfront Suites (we were above them, they were ground level). The rooms were clean and spacious. Somewhat limited storage for clothes but we made the best of the shelving/hanging unit provided. The shower is a dream. The maid service cleaned our room daily and did a wonderful job! We loved the treats left on our pillows each day. AC was yours to control. One challenge we faced that would have a simple fix was the lack of rugs in the room. You’re walking through sand to get to your room and yes, there’s a bucket of water to rinse before entering however we were desperate for a small outdoor rug or just something at either the sides or foot of the bed to brush off sand before getting in bed. Interestingly, our friends downstairs had an awesome runner at the foot of their bed so maybe just consistency with that would make a huge difference! You wake to a cute basket with coffee each morning and they will refill your drinking water as much as you need it in the room. We can’t say enough good things about the staff. You communicate to them through What’sApp which offered quick responses to any questions or concerns or when ordering food/drink. Larissa, the concierge was WONDERFUL. She welcomed us every day and made us feel right at home and taken care of during our stay. She helped fill out trip with wonderful experiences whether it be tours, great local spots for food/drink or logistics. We rented scooters from the hotel the majority of our vacation days and it was well worth it. We did find the prices just across the street were cheaper however we liked the convenience of renting through the hotel. The food and drink at the hotel is all delicious, although we quickly learned that eating and drinking on the beach does get expensive, so we chose wisely when/how much we ate at the hotel. This just comes with the location. The physical location of the hotel is ideal because it isn’t too far down into the beach strip, which traffic became pretty bad the further you drove in. The aesthetic and details of the hotel are perfect for making you feel like you’re living in a whimsical jungle. FYI to all looking to stay on the beach in Tulum, during April-November or so, Tulum gets a massive amount of seaweed that makes it nearly impossible to swim in the ocean. The hotels, including Hotelito Azul, do their best to remove as much seaweed from the beach as possible, but man, is it an uphill battle. This limited our ability to sit out on the beach unfortunately, because the only relief from the heat was the outdoor shower. Which, again, is lovely, but not the ocean. Luckily, Tulum has so many other wonderful things to do that we did not feel this impacted our trip in any significant way. Those that travel during the better months have a lovely beachfront area to look forward to at Hotelito Azul. All in all, we loved our stay at this hotel and look forward to returning in the future! Thank you all!
SSongxiangruiruiMy favorite hotel!
I also held my wedding here
The hotel is beautiful, and there are two museums that are also beautiful in the same style.
If you also like the original ecology, don’t hesitate to order directly
The scenery is incomparably beautiful, be sure to choose a sea view room
This is a hotel you must visit in your life!
