Hotel Grand Chancellor Brisbane Reviews

Located across from the Roma St Parklands and a 10 - 15 minute walk into the city. We were impressed with the special deal on offer by Trip.com which had many inclusions. Check in was smooth and our room ready for early access! Our room was compact and clean - lacking balcony furniture though. Good view to the parklands. We had car parking, meal vouchers, welcome drinks, and buffet breakfast included so we're able to sample the meals. Breakfast offered a good range of choices and we could request dietary needs. There were a couple of functions happening the night of our stay and we unfortunately had some rather loud, boisterous and intoxicated guests staying next door to us which woke us a couple of times. Overall an enjoyable experience and we'd definitely consider staying again if Bonus extras were on offer.

The location was right between the CBD and fortitude valley. Need a little bit of walk. The staffs were super nice, and the room and facilities were good.

Enjoyed our 2 night stay, food was good service pretty good , location excellent.. really good value for money.

Requested bath tub - no luck with that. Room was average. Parking was easy, breakfast was good but love to see it stepped up a little, food was average. Maybe a fresh orange juice machine? Bar was great, staff there wonderful… food at bar excellent. Pool lovely, gym excellent. One lift was out of order. 1 towel each provided, no extra blankets or pillows in the room and the AC was chilly so little cold during the night. Room service was excellent and reasonable price. Would stay again if another deal came up

The Restaurant food was absolutely divine. The Staff were lovely and helpful. Easy to find, cat park easy to use.

Location to cbd area excellent ,, food and service absolutely the best ,, we were really looked after on our 5 day visit . Very clean room .The staff .. always smiling and helpful .

Great location for any medical visits etc in hospital district. Lovely staff throughout the hotel and close to the city Food was lovely. No complaints

outstanding service, superb food at restaurant or room service. Pleasantly delighted to receive food and beverage vouchers and a welcome drink. Beautiful roof top pool and gym.

Loved the location and the restaurant for dinner, unfortunately breakfast was pretty dismil. Also most staff seem to be treading water and unfortunately giving misleading information except for the Restaurant Manager who was excellent. Also my review is based on the excellent deal we received, if we had of paid full price 1 star would be more like it.

The overall is good for business and families. The hotel is within walking distance from the Brisbane CBD, Roma Street Station and parklands and St Andrew's War Memorial hospital across the road (so good for families or out of town patients). The only meal we had was breakfast and that was a standard buffet. What is poor is that one month on, and after contacting a few times and being told 'we will look into it and get back to you', my security deposit hold on my credit card hasn't been lifted. As I travel for business a bit the security deposits tend to add up from various establishments but are generally released within a week. It is frustrating that I can't get anyone to release this hold.

Very friendly desk staff on check in and was very surprised at the comfort level in the room ( bed was extremely comfortable) and the rain shower was perfect. A meal at the bar with their all day menu exceeded our expectations and the breakfast buffet excellent. Great value hotel in Brisbane.

Stayed one night with friends (2 rooms) and check in was great! Very easy, friendly and welcoming. Free parking was great. The Bar and cafe were good with great food and fair prices. Good Pizza and the cakes were also fresh and tasty. Breakfast was ok, not the greatest selection on offer but overall enjoyed the stay and will stay again 😊
