Awesome experience at Welcome Heritage Gurkha houseboat.I would recommend to experience houseboat only at Welcome Heritage Gurkha hoyseboat.Its must experience.The food and hospitality is just wow.The caretaker are also very caring and always available

Welcome Heritage Gurkha Houseboats are simply the best option to stay in Srinagar. Amazing service with delicious food and humble staff. My family and myself Jayesh, were welcomed exclusively by the staff and we had a memorable experience!!

The visit and stay at Gurkha Houseboat was indeed a pleasant and memorable experience. The manager Tanveer and his assistants Ashraf and Riyaz deserve a special mention for their warm hospitality. The cleanliness and hygiene were commendable and food served was delicious. Would love to visit again

The most impressive part was the service and most amenable attitude of the staff. They were attentive and eager to help. The food was good too. Caretakers Reyaz and Ashraf are doing commendable job under the very able leadership of Tanveer.

We were impressed with the cleanliness of the boat, punctuality and fresh homely food. The manager Tanveer was welcoming and knowledge about the local traditions/handicrafts and exposed us to the Kashmiri way of life! Don't miss the authentic Kashmiri carpet showroom, located 5 mins from the boat!

The service was excellent & food taste was like home food, interior of boat was amazing & we would like to recommend our friends to visit your Boat in future . We will also come again. I home Ghurkha boats was the best boats among all. As i can see from out side as well

We stayed at the Houseboat #2 of Welcomheritage Gurkha houseboats on Nageen Lake August 18-20. This was a family get together. The ambience, accomodation, food, etc. were excellent. It was a superb experience for all family members and we are talking about coming back. However, the highpoint of our stay was the service provided Reyaz and Ashraf throughtout our stay. They were ever smiling and catering to our every need even at odd hours and how much time consuming. I wish we could take them with us to USA!!!

Stay is neat and clean, room is good but as mentioned in booking, they don't offer buffer dinner or elaborate hi tea, they have limited options available and they dont ask or share options before preparing dishes. Overall food is not like usual welcome heritage hotels. Stay is worth the price but food is below average in terms of preparation of items

The boat itself is gorgeous. The decor, architecture, and area is very beautiful. The staff are all very kind and very helpful. The food in the boat was AMAZING and we had a great time. The rooms were very well done and there is a lot to do just around the boat. You can go explore Kashmiri carpets and pashminas and also take a relaxing boat ride around the lake. The lake these boats are on is very clean and the views were really pretty. Would recommend staying more than one night.
