Hotel la Place

We had a fabulous stay at La Place. Everything about the hotel is luxury, but with a lovely informal feel. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Particularly liked that the hotel offers a free drop off to St Aubin which was a lovely touch. Can’t recommend this lovely hotel enough

Best customer service ever. A lovely hotel with fabulous food but what makes it extra special are the staff- go above and beyond to make your stay wonderful . The staff that were exceptional during our stay were Roxanna on reception and Silvio who did a bit of everything- bar, restaurant and driving us about day and night- a special guy who gave us lots of ideas of things to do aswell. There were lots of others but can’t remember all the names. A wonderful team!

A beautiful hotel in a peaceful location. The cleanliness and quality of bed linen and towels are superb. Food and service in all areas are beyond expectations, I must mention Victor at reception for going the extra mile and also Patrick in the restaurant for such friendly and professional service….you and the rest of your amazing team made our holiday extra special. Stayed 6 nights. Collected from airport, freindly check in, welcome drink given which is nice. Stayed in superior room, it was large enough with table and chairs. The photos are all a good indicaiton. The bed and pillows for us were too hard and we did not sleep well at all but that is no fault of the hotel really. Breakfast was always relaxing good choices but would prefer some nuts with the seeds, cooked breakfast was always very good. We had a few meals in the bar all were nice, drinks were good. Prices high as is the norm. Pool area was nice and it was relaxing to sit out there. Lifts to St Aubins were very useful, you can walk down the lane in about 10 mins so no issue for us with location. Had a packed breakfast as we left early which was appreciated not as nice as I expected but OK. All staff were very proffessional and freindly.

What a beautiful gem of a hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful, all polite and well mannered. Hotel offer people carrier to take you locally to where you want to go as well as airport. Drivers lovely and friendly. Thank you Gentlemen. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, exactly as the photos show. Bedrooms are well equipped rooms tidied every day. So peaceful Bathrooms come with lovely toiletries bath and separate walk in shower From breakfast to dinner all fantastic. We will definitely be back Thank you for making our visit that extra bit more special

I’m writing this review on my last day in the hotel. Wish I could stay longer going home tomorrow. This place is how a hotel should be run they have thought of every single little detail. The staff are all amazing friendly and helpful. They are always smiling and nothing is a bother for them. The hotel has a car and they run a complementary service between the hotel and st Aubin where there are many restaurants. If it’s before 8pm and you call them they will come and take you back to the hotel. They also gave us a ride to the Jersey war tunnels. Number 9 bus stops right outside and takes you into st Helier. I told them it was my partners birthday today and we were away out for the day when we got back to the room there was a card and a box of chocolates for her. Breakfast is good fresh and a big selection never waiting more that ten minutes for the cooked breakfast to arrive at the table. This hotel may be a bit more expensive than elsewhere but it’s worth every single penny for the service and quality you get. I will most definitely be returning in the future. Thanks David room 221

Lovely peaceful location but has a bus stop outside and easy to walk into St Aubin. Plenty of parking for hire/personal cars. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. No aircon but a good fan is provided. Huge bed. Shower is a good power/temperature. Breakfast had a great choice and service is excellent. Special shout out to all the staff who are very friendly and helpful. Restaurant staff, reception and cleaning staff. Would love to come back some day

We returned to Hotel la Place having missed last year and it was our fifth visit since our first back in 2019. The hotel, despite some staff changes, continues to offer an absolutely brilliant experience. We really do feel like we are treated like royalty, however it is not just returning guests that get this treatment it is clear that the guest is front and centre of everything offered. Tim Brooke is probably the most experienced and customer focused hotel manager you will find, he is always asking what can be done to help and clearly runs a superb staff outfit. There are new members of staff that were absolutely superb and it is perhaps unfair to name them all but I will try ( sorry if we missed one ) , Emmanual, Farida, Patrick, David, Silvio, Marcus, all in their own way were fantastic but they are clearly well trained. Cristina, Roxanna, Carlos, Remi etc are all still there from previous visits and we're absolutely brilliant. We have left Rui until last because he is just incredible, he has a way about him I'm sure that some guests may not be at ease with but he is without doubt the life and soul of la place in the bar. He makes you feel at home and brings a smile to each day. He makes you laugh and is a very very professional bartender. The food is always first class and does, despite being the same chefs, get better each time..we went home thinking we might not be able to eat for a week such was the standard and taste. The cleanliness of the hotel is fabulous, we have read about the tiles around the pool and it is fair to point out this would help, as would jazzing up the courtyard area a little but given that hotel la place is always trying to improve im pretty sure they will already have this in mind. Irrespective the cleaners do a tremendous job and the rooms are literally spotless with superb touches. We have already planned when we will return, flights permitting and when we do it will be like returning to a little piece of heaven. We were very lucky with the weather. However there is always something to do in Jersey and hotel la Place is the perfect base. Thank you for making our holiday a dream again.

AMAZING....stayed in oak cottage...nice stay in a nice cottage...nice pool and area....food great... The whole experience at la place was wonderful... Also to say..rui...Silvio...Victor...and Patrick...and all the staff were ....fantastic ...very warm and welcoming....didn't want to come back home....treated like part of the family..THANK YOU LA PLACE....
