This hotel is a small oasis in Stalida and rightly deserves the name boutique hotel. With only eleven rooms, the Riviera is small and family-run. We spent nine nights here and were very satisfied. Our standard room was on the first floor and we were worried that 22 square meters would be a bit too small, but it worked out well, we stowed all our things, the room is nice and offers enough space. There is also a surprising amount of storage space in the small bathroom. And on the balcony there is a table, chairs and a clothes rack. So, everything is good! Just a note, because the rooms are offered as triple rooms: it is definitely too small for three adults, but it should be fine with a small child. The selection at the breakfast buffet is manageable, but everything you need is there. From rolls, coffee, tea, sausage, cheese, yogurt, fruit and desserts. And egg dishes are freshly prepared on request. And if something isn't there, just ask and you'll get it. What we found particularly pleasant here is the fact that there are enough loungers on the beach and by the pool (including for hotel guests). The typical and annoying lounger reservation in the morning hours does not exist at the Riviera. At the pool, each room even has a reserved lounger, and there are enough loungers and parasols available on the beach. These are also rented out to external guests, but hotel guests have priority until lunchtime. We really enjoyed the beach days at the Riviera Boutique Hotel. Compared to the other beach areas, the one at the hotel is very nice, the loungers are well spaced out so that you don't end up lying next to the other guests like sardines. With a shower, toilet, WiFi and very good beach service from the always friendly beach boy, you are well looked after. Chilled drinks and snacks are happily served to your lounger, and you pay at the end of the day in cash or by card. We would also like to highlight the restaurant in the hotel. Like the hotel itself, it is an oasis in noisy Stalida and stands out in a positive way from the very touristy restaurants along the beach road. We enjoyed three wonderful dinners here, and we have a separate review for that. There is one person in the hotel who plays a key role in making the stay so pleasant and personal: Apostolis. He seems to be there 24 hours a day, every day, and takes care of all the guests' needs. In the evening at the bar, we had very nice conversations with him, and he also had great tips for excursions and recommendations for restaurants for us. He is the soul of the house. We also got to know the owners of the hotel. They were also very nice and, as we found out, they are also the owners of the Caravel car rental company (located in the same building right on the street). There is a car rental service for hotel guests (regardless of which provider).
