Stanley Hotels with Free Breakfast

Excellent modern room that was exceptionally clean , the staff are fantastic, we stayed two nights here whilst visiting the Beamish Museum. If you have paid for bed and breakfast the breakfast is served in the Rangos Restaurant which is operated as a separate business but within the hotel building . The breakfast was absolutely excellent, we booked a Saturday evening meal at Rangos , again the food and Rangos staff along with the menu pricing are excellent . Great hotel already planning a revisit back to the Beamish Museum so we will be rebooking at this hotel again which would be our fourth time , many thanks too all .

We visited for the couples dining experience. Having never been to the hotel before, we weren’t sure what to expect but were greeted with smiles and deception. Once checked in, we were directed to our room. It was a little bit of a rabbit warren to try and get to it, but we did find our room thanks to the good signage on the corridors. We had red wine with chocolates in our room as part of the package. The bed was comfortable and the shower and bath were lovely. We were eating in the Staples restaurant which you had to access by going outside. Thankfully it wasn’t raining.. We were initially seated with a bench seating, but that was really high up so we asked to move and we were moved to a different table. The food was delicious and service good. Once we had paid for our food and drinks, we went through to the bar to have a couple of cocktails. Breakfast the next day was served in the same place. A buffet style breakfast and everything you could ask for. Main breakfast meals Were taken to order and brought straight to the table. We would definitely stay here again.

An excellent bed and breakfast venue. The staff could not do more for you. The hotel is very clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. There was as much free tea and coffee in the bedrooms as u wanted. There was a kitchen on the landing u could use the iron there and put fresh milk in the fridge, make a small snack. Breakfast was very good. Good quality ingredients. Excellent service. My daughter is gluten free and the staff were so helpful and had four cereals maybe more to choose from gluten free bread and sausages. The breakfast was better than any hotel for our daughter. This is a brilliant place stay if u are going to a function at the South Causey Inn, it is literally a six minute walk from the South Causy Inn, it was perfect I would highly recommend the Ball Alley excellent value for money really friendly helpful staff/ owner. WiFi was good.

The Black Horse Beamish provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. We arrived at 13:20 for lunch, the restaurant/pub was not too busy but the appearance of the bar/restaurant is very nice I really like the stripped back to brick the new owners have gone for. I had used this pub many years ago and thought I would give it a try. The menu is not overly complicated which I found great , I opted for the squid starter, unfortunately this was no longer available, so went for the belly pork, I am glad the squid was not on as the belly pork was delicious. I then ordered the corned beef pie, but that was not available until later on so the second choice was the steak and ale pie. This pie did not disappoint, full of meat and gravy which tasted fantastic with creamy mash and veg. Although, I did not get any of my first choices, I was not disappointed in my second, homely food, well cooked and presented. The staff are really friendly and polite.
