2-Star Hotels in Sydney

I had a fantastic stay at Pacific House Hostel in Sydney and can honestly say it was one of the highlights of my trip. The hostel has a great atmosphere, very friendly staff, and a real sense of community that makes you feel welcome from the first day. What truly sets Pacific House apart is the active social program they organize. The coastal walk along the beaches was absolutely amazing — stunning ocean views, fresh air, and great company. The walk across the bridge was another unforgettable experience with incredible views of Sydney Harbour and the Opera House. The picnics were also a highlight: beach barbecues with a relaxed vibe, good food, and lots of laughter, as well as simple but lovely sandwich picnics in the Botanical Garden — a perfect way to enjoy the city and meet new people. A huge thank you to the entire team for creating such a warm and fun environment. Special thanks to David from Poland, who ran many of the activities — his energy, friendliness, and great organization made a big difference and truly enhanced the experience. Highly recommended for anyone who wants more than just a place to sleep, but a memorable stay full of activities, new friends, and great memories

The room was tiny and had no windows. What's worse, the window shown in the WeChat ad was clearly photoshopped! Each room has a skylight, similar to those found in an aviary, and it can't be closed. So, when the sun comes up, the room gets incredibly bright. However, the room itself was quite tastefully decorated, and the location is great. There's a fantastic and affordable Chinese restaurant called Jinji right across the street, and it's only a 3-minute walk to the subway. The key highlight for me, as someone who drives, is the free parking. There's a bar downstairs and guest rooms on the second floor.

The Good: - comfy bed - stable hot shower with refillable shower gel bottles - fridge - washing machine plus dryer - lots of power ports - very central location - easy enough to contact the owner for info The Not So Good: - only one towel for three nights, maybe another one will do? - washing machine needs some maintenance, quite dirty and needs some cleaning/dust removal. The dryer works, but can overheat, probably due to dust collecting. - pillow was too thin, maybe another pillow will do - room was a bit small but not surprising, was a bit hard to place my large luggage Overall, I’d recommend the place despite some small issues that could make it the perfect place to stay. The price isn’t too bad, a bit more expensive than nearby hotels/hostels with the same room type, but I’d happily trade that for a quieter place to sleep.

The hostel was perfectly located near Bondi Beach and restaurant/bar/shops. Quiet neighborhood, quiet hostel, and great staff. Cleaning wasn't spotless but very decent if you consider that is a backpackers hostel. I've got a room upgrade which enhanced the experience. Everything is through the phone. Don't forget to download the app before hand. Was a bit stressful to be sure to don't run out of battery.

怎麼説呢，這個條件和價格在悉尼，對我這種爛仔來説簡直太棒了，但如果想要品質的話，那還是多考慮考慮。下面是一個比賽酒吧和賭場，在酒吧裏辦理入住的。公共衞生間，每天會打掃和放上新毛巾洗浴用品，木地板看着不乾淨，但其實都是些“時間印跡”，清不掉的 還有東西可以講，但總之，想要一個便宜的價格，又不想要太糟糕的環境，這裡是個不錯的選擇 交通時間，公共交通到悉尼歌劇院差不多一個小時好像 廁所圖片，真不放心普遍有紙，自己擦一下，反正我也不是啥講究人🤓

We stayed at room 13, The window couldn't be opened. It has some soud proofing on top which lessen the noise that is coming from the Parramatta road. The room smells mouldy and mask by tiny air freshener. Towels, toiletries and bottle of water (upon check-in) is provided. We do not have a chance to use the breakfast facilities as we left before check out time

Hygiene: Overall, it was clean, but there were dead cockroaches in the wardrobe, and the towels were old with permanent stains. Environment: The environment was not as good as shown online. Service: When there were issues, service was provided, but not always promptly. Facilities: Initially, the light was broken (and there was only one), no fan, the shower faucet wouldn't turn off completely and kept dripping loudly, and there was no WiFi. After communication, the first three issues were fixed, but the WiFi was not.

Cleanliness is very important to all the hotels and accommodation. because it can cause diseases. Dust comming from the fan and air-conditioning when it's running. I show cockroaches coming through the gaps on the walls. Specially the noise from the doors and air-conditioning need to be replaced. But although I realised this is how we all end it up if we after economy room. Management is very friendly but need more attention of cleanliness and maybe it's time to do renovations. Thanks

It's a quiet neighborhood and a great location for a short stay.
