I forgot to take pictures. It was a guesthouse I booked the night before my trip to Jiuhua Mountain, located near the high-speed rail station. It was a converted restaurant/farmhouse. The family of three had a very well-behaved little daughter. The room was large and clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the hot water came quickly. It rained that night, and my quick-drying overalls dried in less than two hours. The owners were very welcoming and offered to pick me up from the high-speed rail station. Because there were few other residents nearby, it was incredibly quiet at night. The only downside was that it was inconvenient to buy things; I was startled by several dogs, and oh, I also killed three mosquitoes. The owners even asked the uncle who was dropping me off at the station to help me buy some snacks at a small shop along the way. They were a very kind family. I wish their little shop continued success under the protection of Buddha.

The guesthouse boasts a fantastic location, with an artificial lake right outside. I stayed in a mountain view room, and the view from my window was breathtaking. The windows were also very soundproof, making it quiet at night. While the room's decor was simple, it had everything you needed. For this price, what more could you ask for? Excellent value for money! Oh, and the owner was incredibly kind, helping me solve many problems. When I left my hat in the room at check-out, he even mailed it back to me. Thumbs up! 👍

A truly exceptional stay on Jiuhuashan I have stayed in many guesthouses across China, but this one stands out in a very special way. From the very first moment, the communication via WeChat was friendly, quick, and reliable – even though my Chinese is limited and the staff’s English is not extensive. Still, everything worked beautifully. Warm, patient, uncomplicated. It already gives you the feeling that you are in good hands. I stayed for two days, and throughout my entire time there, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up right on time upon arrival – an invaluable service in a mountain area that can be a little confusing for newcomers. The guesthouse itself is extremely comfortable: warm, well-designed rooms with excellent facilities, a huge screen, electric curtains, cozy bedding, and all the small details that make travel easier. I immediately felt welcomed and well taken care of. During my stay, the staff assisted me with everything I needed, always with kindness and without any complications. When it was time to leave, they also arranged transport back to my bus at exactly the time I requested. Truly flawless service. But the most extraordinary highlight was something I did not expect at all: the free guided tour that the homestay organizes for all their guests. They drove us to the starting point, and then we spent the day walking through the misty mountain paths, visiting nine of the most important temples on Jiuhuashan. It was magical – quiet, mysterious, deeply atmospheric. Our guide took wonderful care of everyone, explained so much about the temples, the mountain, the history, and the spirit of Dizang Bodhisattva, and created a sense of depth that went far beyond sightseeing. This was not a tourist activity. It was a spiritual and cultural experience – something you can only receive from people who truly love their mountain and want to share it with others. In the fog, among ancient stones, incense smoke, and the sound of footsteps on wet leaves, one begins to understand why Jiuhuashan has been a sacred place for centuries. My conclusion: This homestay offers not only comfort, warmth, and excellent service, but also a genuine connection to the spiritual heart of Jiuhuashan. I can recommend Tanxiangyuan Homestay without any hesitation. For pilgrims, travelers, lovers of nature, or anyone seeking a meaningful experience, this place is simply perfect. I am grateful for every moment I spent there.

The newly opened guesthouse has a great location, behind Huacheng Temple, making it convenient to get to the cable car station, the main gate, and many other places. Shopping and dining are also readily available nearby. The rooms are clean and tidy, offering a quiet retreat amidst the bustling city. Highly recommended!

The front desk service is very good, warm and patient, and the room type has been upgraded! The room is also very good, the area is large, and there is a large bed of 1.8 meters, the price is very high, satisfied!

The room is small and the win is clean. The front desk service was very warm, but the hotel meal had noodles in the morning and noon. The location depends on personal needs. It is next to the west gate of the Moon Body Palace. It is very friendly to people who want to get up early to participate in the morning class. Next to it is the scenic bus stop. It is not operating time to call the owner of the hotel, or rely on the legs. If you want to be lively, it is convenient to live on Jiuhua Street. The name Yunhai Building should be visible to the sea of clouds, but when it encounters a foggy day, it will have eyes.

I stayed for 2 days. It was very clean and the boss was very nice. He told me the route up the mountain and took me to the Cultural Park. This trip was a complete success! Everything I wanted to go went! The big and small rooftops are gone! I’m very happy🥳The specialty shops nearby are also very convenient, mainly because it’s very close to the tourist service center! It’s only a 4-minute walk away! I will recommend it to friends who are coming. It is also very convenient to live down the mountain! Went to all the Buddhist temples on the mountain on the first day! It was a really good itinerary experience to go to the Cultural Park early the next day!

The boss is very nice. The overall design is neo-Chinese, which is quite innovative. A clean and tidy environment makes people feel happy and easy to attract wealth. Because I came to Jiuhua Mountain on a whim, I booked a hotel on short notice, and there were basically no suitable single rooms. This partitioned single room has a different artistic conception. Cleanliness is the key. The boss is very enthusiastic and will answer any questions.

You can not miss this little gem of a stay! Your stay is inside the scenic area! Your bus to and from the area is across the road! But do not fear about being lost! Your host will take you to the bus stop and even take the bus with you to make sure you get in easy and walk you to the bus exchange centre 😳🤩😎! He even drove me to the cable car area the first day and picked me up! Really a very friend man and his family are also wonderful! I met people from Beijing who return to visit for the third time and they sometimes rent the whole place for their big family! A wonderful experience and by far the BEST host i have ever had!

How to put it this way, the price-performance ratio is average for a room booked during a holiday. After all, it's only 800 yuan small, and the room is only the size of a bed. The boss is more enthusiastic, but still says the price/performance ratio is not high.
