2-Star Hotels in Daocheng County

I highly recommend this hotel if you are planning to visit Yading National Park. The owner is very friendly and gave good recommendations to prepare for the hike. Hence, we were very well prepared and managed to hike the entire long and short route in one day. The hotel supplies oxygen 10yuan, raincoat 10yuan and hiking pole 15yuan at a very reasonable price. The hotel is also close to eateries and a convenience store. If you are a foreigner this place will make you feel like home. Overall a very good stay and the owner was so accommodating. We will definitely be back soon.

The hotel might look old, BUT it has a grand view! The view from either my room or the rooftop is incredible! I visited in May 2026 and I can see BOTH the golden sunrise and the golden sunset from here. The hotel owner was also nice eventhough we did not talk much. Prepare your cold clothes, so you can enjoy the incredible view comfortably. PS: My room which was on the 3rd floor, was also clean eventhough they don't have elevator, so you have to use stairs if you stay here. But I would say it was an amazing stay for me.

This guesthouse has a lot of ******* character, and the service is very warm and welcoming. The hallway smells really nice, and the location is great too. There's a pretty famous restaurant not far downstairs. The only downside is that the parking lot is a bit small; we ended up parking on the street.

This is an exceptionally good hotel! So good that even a lazy person like me who rarely writes reviews has to give it a thumbs up. I've stayed in countless hotels all over the country, and this is truly the most comfortable and cost-effective one I've ever stayed in. The location isn't particularly hard to find, and the decor is excellent—very new and clean. The rooms are large, the beds are very comfortable, and the blankets are soft. It's quiet in a residential area, with minimal noise at night. If the entire building were converted into a hotel, it wouldn't be inferior to many five-star hotels. There's a convenience store downstairs, making shopping very convenient. The hotel owner's service attitude is also excellent (part of this review is because of his good attitude; otherwise, I'm too lazy to bother with follow-up reviews). Finally, here are a few photos taken in Yading. In short, it's an exceptionally good hotel, and a very enjoyable trip.

The environment is okay, you can see Xiannairi across the window, but the water was cut off that night, and the hot water was not very hot. There is an electric heater, but the price is a bit expensive.

Location is great, in the center of Riwa. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. Only 10minutes to the entrance of Yading. Staff are helpful. They can speak a bit of English. Foreigners are accepted. The room is ok but there is always smoking smell in the room (maybe from the room nextdoor)

The hotel located in very convenient location, if you travel to yading by bus. Room with lot of space with electric blanket and very comfortable heater. We have good night sleep at this hotel after long trekking day. The staff are very helpful and the hotel in a short walk from supermarket and food shops.

The owner was very friendly. Litanga helped me find a car. The location of the accommodation was very good because it was close to the city center and quiet. I stayed on the 3rd floor, but there was an elevator so it was not inconvenient.

The sign board is in Chinese only. So, it is quite difficult for foreigner like me to get to the right building. Even my local taxi driver can not. Fortunately, the owner lady and friends are sittings at the roadside waiting for customers or passerby who looks for an accommodation. The owner lady is very generous and servicible. She helps me carrying my big luggage from street to the homestay. She also show me how to use facilities in the room. She speaks only chinese but I can not. So, she suggest me to contact her via Wechat which I can use translation feature. In the morning before I am going to visit Yading Scenic Spot, she offers me an treking pole too. Nevertheless, Due to the early departure time of bus to Xianggelila, I figure out whether I move to stay in town for another day after finishing 3-day booking here. She asks me if I have nothing to do in town and decide to continue staying. She can provide a free pick-up to the bus station by her family car at 5.30 a.m. That is great. The room is small and simple but tidy. Bed is firm and comfortable. It comes with electronic blanket which helps alot because it is freezing at night. Bathroom and toilet are clean. Hot water is provided all day in night. Shower pressure is strong and easy to adjust the temperature. However, bathroom and toilet are humid and difficult to dry because of the cold weather. Wifi is strong.
