2-Star Hotels in Jeonnam-Gwangju

I visited the accommodation to watch a baseball game. It was recently remodeled, so the facilities are really great and the hygiene is excellent! I didn't get to eat because I was sleeping, but breakfast is provided for free on weekdays, so I recommend it to anyone who absolutely needs to have breakfast. Traffic to Champions Field is a bit tricky, so walking from U-Square is the most convenient option. Since this place is right next to U-Square, it is perfect for dropping off your luggage and heading to the stadium. Perhaps because it was a weekday, they even upgraded my room, so I had a comfortable night's sleep in a spacious room!! I will definitely come back on my next visit to Champions Field haha.

This was my second visit to Gwangju. I now understand why Easy Stay gets such good reviews and why people bother to write them! I picked Easy Stay based solely on reviews, wanting a place near the bustling downtown area. When I arrived, I was immediately disappointed with the location, and to top it off, the elevator was under construction. My husband even gave me an earful, saying I fell for fake reviews. But guess what? The owner was so friendly, and the facilities and condition were much better than I expected. The biggest surprise, though, was the amazing free breakfast! The owner's mother, a truly lovely woman, personally prepared our meal, even cooking ramen for us. She also took care of all the dishes afterward. For dessert, we had flower tea and tangerines she peeled for us herself. I've traveled a lot, but I've never experienced such a wonderful breakfast. I was truly touched! I was so impressed after the meal that I'm writing this review right here, right now. Owner, I wish you great success! I'll definitely be back.

hotel was nice and clean. location wise, it's a bit far from the ktx station, but there's lots of buses nearby. breakfast was nice and simple and there was still food available at 8:30am (it ends at 9am). the bathroom light turns off automatically and it was inconvenient since sometimes it turns off while i'm already inside the bathroom.

Overall, it offers excellent value for money! All rooms are sea-facing, and there's a parking lot conveniently located on the ground floor. Both Ganjang Gejang Street and Lotte Supermarket are just a few hundred meters away, making them a short walk. You'll also frequently find mobile fruit stalls nearby selling very affordable produce.

I booked this place just to stay for one night because my schedule got messed up, but I never expected it to be this good!! As soon as you enter, the owner greets you warmly, and once you get your key and go upstairs, you'll be surprised once again by the clean facilities 🫣 There is a convenience store within a 3-minute walk, and since it's near the station, delivery services are all great!! Also, there is a microwave and a water dispenser with hot water and ice on the first floor, so I think parents feeding their babies baby food will be able to use it comfortably 🔥🔥 Most of all, I left my Apple Watch behind... and I am so, so grateful to the owner for sending it home for me... No matter how good the facilities are, you wouldn't go back if the service was bad, right?? You can trust the service here completely. I hope the owner's business becomes a huge success 💕

The facilities are a bit old; even the sheets are patched. It was difficult to find the hotel because the reception is accessed through the parking lot. This is probably because it's a love hotel and guests prefer privacy. The room is large and quiet. The bed is comfortable. The room has a TV, refrigerator, kettle, hairdryer, and hair straightener. There are chargers for electronic devices. The bathroom is large, has a bathtub, and they provide shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. There are toiletries in small bags. Pajamas and slippers are also provided. There is coffee and a microwave in the reception area. The staff is very friendly. We didn't like: there's no wardrobe, and you don't know where to put your clothes; there are only two hangers on the wall. It's probably intended for a one-night stay. The towels are hand towels, not bath towels, making it very difficult to dry yourself properly. But without a doubt, the worst thing is the smell. It smells like old tobacco; it's so strong it's almost like garbage. The lights are difficult to adjust. We didn't even know how to turn off the bathroom light without turning off all the others.

Hotel situé proche arrêt de bus en venant du terminal des bus.,ainsi que pour faire les visites.Chambre correcte pour une personne ,propre,bonne literie par contre décoration surchargée ce qui rend la chambre plus petite,le plus le fauteuil de massage bien qu'un peu défoncé fonctionne très bien à condition de savoir le mettre en route car pas de notice en anglais. Le lendemain le ménage n'était pas fait (1janvier?) mais à la réception j'ai eu des disettes de café et bouteilles d'eau quand le soir j'ai ete demander.

Stayed for 4 nights in private room. Small but compact room with drawers and shelves for storage. Good hot working shower. Comfortable beds and efficient air con and fan. Plenty of food options and shops around as close to the university and good transport links to major attractions. Shared kitchen, small but everything you need. Due to this being shared, it was not always the cleanest as not everyone takes responsibility to clean after themselves. Hosts were LOVELY. Really friendly and always around for a chat. We sat with them for dinner one evening and we're given local fruits to try. Cheap and convenient.

This motel was probably the cleanest one I have stayed at. No stains on the bed or towels, and the floor was clean. The only bad thing is that the ceiling went up into a kind of square shape above the bed, and there was a big bug (not a roach) above where my head was, and there's like a little trough area so it was able to hide, too, and it wouldn't die, no matter how many times I sprayed it. I couldn't change rooms until the next day, so I slept with my head at the foot of the bed. The next day, I was moved to a different room with a wooden panel sticking down from the ceiling so no bugs would fall. They also kept my luggage while I went out for the day, and the workers were friendly. It was a good stay overall.

But it was nice to come in along the country road and see the room. Wake up in the morning, open the window and look out, the air is clear, the surroundings are clean and ... everything was good.
