The Sky Cottage is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Koh Samet will find that the Sky Cottage is a fantastic accommodation choice. U-Tapao Rayong–Pattaya International Airport is the closest major transportation option, approximately 51km away. U-Tapao Rayong–Pattaya International Airport is approximately 51km away by road. This hotel is located near many of Koh Samet's attractions including Ao Phutsa, Prao Beach and Ao Chor. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing.

"I really liked the hotel. During our stay, we experienced different types of accommodations. Initially, we stayed in a separate bungalow. These are located slightly behind the main building, so you don't hear any neighbors, and they have high ceilings. The curtains weren't entirely blackout, though, so it was bright in the mornings. Then, we moved to a ground-floor room in the main building. It was a bit dim, but that was actually a plus as it made it easier to sleep. Even though it was next to the dining area, there wasn't much noise, and we didn't have to deal with stairs. The sliding doors were silent, which is a big plus! Afterward, we moved to the second floor. This room was smaller than the one on the first floor, brighter, and noisier because there are rooms on both sides of the hallway, meaning more people. Kids were running around in the mornings and doors were slamming. If you want to sleep in, I recommend choosing a separate bungalow (cottage) or a room on the third floor. Breakfast is served from 7 AM to 10 AM. We came as late as 9:55 AM, and there was still plenty of food available. They had fried eggs, boiled eggs, and sometimes an omelet. There was always one hot dish – Thai-style rice, noodles, or pasta. Plus, plain rice was always available. There was also a small soup. For vegetables, they offered cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, and cabbage, along with tasty sausages and ham. Pancakes were available, and you could have them with condensed milk. Toasts and delicious coffee were also part of the spread. The staff and Emmy, the owner, are all incredibly pleasant people. A big thank you to them! Check-in is at 2 PM, and check-out is at 11:30 AM. A hairdryer is available at reception. Water and toilet paper are replenished daily. The rooms are cleaned regularly. The owner's two little Pomeranian dogs run around, brightening everyone's mood. There are also cats in the area where the separate bungalows are, and you can pet them."

Our stay was enjoyable. The beach is conveniently located just across the street, and there are plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area. The property also offers a small convenience store and an onsite restaurant, which added to the overall convenience. The location of the hotel was ok, Most of the restaurants, shops and services were a 8-9 minute walk. The room was decent, though somewhat small. I was not particularly fond of the door design, the automatic door closer made it difficult to enter and exit without fully opening the door outward or opening it wide enough and quickly getting in or out. However, I did appreciate the thoughtful “beach” amenities provided, such as slippers, bags, and beach towels. As well as the amenities. We rented a bike through them and the one day trip to the multiple islands which was an absolutely amazing experience and I highly recommend. Breakfast options were limited, but considering the size of the property, it was reasonable. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

We chose this hotel based on reviews. We didn't book in advance, as the trip was unplanned. It was our first time on this island, and we weren't sure which beaches were best. We decided to pick an inexpensive hotel with a good view and then visit each beach separately. Upon arrival, we realized we had made an excellent choice. LOCATION. You couldn't ask for a better location. It's so close to the pier that we literally walked there with our suitcases in 4 minutes. The two nearest beaches are a 10-15 minute walk away. We thought about renting a scooter but quickly realized we didn't need one. There are cafes, main restaurants, massage places, and, most importantly, a 7/11 nearby. We only went to the pier once to catch a shared songthaew to Ao Prao beach for 40 baht per person. (On the way back, a songthaew acts as a taxi for 250 baht for two, which took us back to the pier). We were worried that being so close to the pier would mean smells from ferry fuel, dirt, and noise. But in the end, there aren't many ferries, no real noise, and the only smell is the sea. The cicadas sing louder! 😄 HOTEL. We had room 10. An excellent room. Yes, it's not brand new, but for the price, it was more than decent. Every morning, we woke up and enjoyed the sea view right from our bed. There's a hammock on the veranda – definitely lie in it! We sat on the veranda at night, and there weren't many mosquitoes or gnats; we didn't even need repellent. Closing the doors provided a little sound insulation. I particularly appreciated the drying rack for clothes and the abundance of hangers in the room. There were glasses, mugs, a kettle, a safe, and a hairdryer. The mattress, pillows, and bedding were all fine. We got one towel per person. CLEANLINESS AND HOUSEKEEPING. There isn't daily room cleaning as such, but they change towels daily, and replenish the gel, shampoo, toilet paper, and tea/coffee sets. If you go out, leave your used towels on the veranda, and when you return, you'll find fresh ones in a bag on the table. For the trash can from the toilet, also place it on the veranda, and they will empty it. Hot water was available 24/7. We really loved this hotel. After returning from the beaches, the scenery visually changed, and we simply enjoyed the beautiful view from our window and the sound of the waves. And, of course, you can't escape the cicadas. We recommend this hotel. Our recommendation: Make sure to walk a little further past this hotel; there are also lovely swimming spots there with no waves.

A good hotel for the price. The location is excellent, just a 6-minute walk from the pier and literally 2 minutes to a great beach. Downstairs, there's a 7/11, cafes, massage, laundry, and fresh fruit. They only provide one key for the whole family, which is a bit inconvenient. As for the room itself, it has everything you need. The bedding and towels are definitely old and have seen better days. Housekeeping and towel changes are by request, but tea, coffee, toilet paper, and water are replenished daily. There's also a small balcony. The receptionist is a very sweet and polite girl. We had a great time and I recommend it.

Small but very pleasant hotel, location is just top. Get to it in 8 minutes from the pier Nadan, next to two 7/11. There are no signs, we flew past it even didn't notice it) on the recession at this moment no one was, waited for 15 minutes, the luggage of the rum is missing, told to leave the suitcases right there 🥲 Authentic numbers, quietly and quietly. At the same time to the central beach to go minutes 3) From the downsides - a large enough room area, but absolutely no cabinets) room as on the photo, only a little viewed views) Breakfast personally I liked! Yes, the choice is modest, but food is enough, the hotel is small after all)

Pros: First-line access to the beautiful white sands of Wong Duang, with direct beach access. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. Breakfasts are modest but edible: rice, noodles, eggs, sausages, toast – you won't go hungry. Cons: The bungalows are a bit tired. There's a serious lack of lighting, and the fridge leaked twice. Verdict: Come for the stunning beach and affordable price, and overlook the 'budget' charm. The staff definitely make up for it.

The location is convenient, just a few meters from the sea, and close to the lively areas too. The hotel itself is in a relatively quiet spot, and I say 'relatively quiet' because it's surrounded by lush vegetation. Many birds start their dawn chorus early in the morning, which is actually lovely – waking up to the sounds of different birds is quite nice. The hotel is a bit old, and the rooms aren't large, but they do clean upon request. The rooms have everything you need for a short stay. We really enjoyed it, though our noisy neighbors who were playing loud music and singing spoiled it a little. However, the hotel staff quickly quieted them down by asking them to keep it down.

First, the cons (there are many) - no one is waiting for you upon check-in, there's no reception, you have to call, and if you don't have a Thai SIM card, you just sit and wait in the heat - the room is very small (6 square meters), of which 4 are taken up by a stone bed. There's not even room to open a suitcase, let alone put things in it - the windows face the hallway, no ventilation, nothing dries, towels rot, no ventilation in the shower, and everything is moldy (which is dangerous for your health) Now, the pros - the location is decent, the beach is nearby - the bed linen was new and generally clean - they say cleaning is done every two days, but I didn't get any for three days - they leave water - a cute cat who constantly sleeps on the porch

This is a two-story house with 3 extra rooms. We booked it with friends and rented the whole place without even realizing it. The location is great, 5 minutes to the main beach, we liked it so much that the distant ones didn't even go. The ceilings are a bit low - but these are minor things, we checked in just to sleep. For that price, everything is very good!

We booked one room (a beautiful picture, spacious room with a TV and sofas), but they checked us into a tiny worker's room, saying that the other room wasn't finished yet. The question is, why sell a beautiful room from a picture if you're not going to put us in it anyway? A rip-off! This room cost 3700 rubles for one night, and they didn't give us a discount for moving us to a worse category. The room isn't worth the money at all ((
