THE SPACE …This Mountain Retreat accommodates 6 people (total adults and children)We offer video security doorbell and keyless entry. Your code to allow entry during your stay will be provided prior to check in. This is a Townhome with private entrance and has 3 floors, so please note that there are STAIRS. If you have difficulty with stairs, you may want to reconsider the Beech area as the majority of properties are multi level homes.The main floor, where you first enter, is level from the adjacent parking area. So unloading your luggage and essentials are easy access into our home. The main floor has a living room, dining, kitchen, full bath and balcony. The main living area is an open and inviting floor plan and makes it great for sharing meals together, relaxing, playing games, watching TV and entertaining.The dining table seats 8 comfortably and is located between the kitchen and the living room. Guests seated at the table have access to the kitchen and TV. The living room has a comfortable sofa as well as a desk for those guests that can't escape work. Printer and computer are not provided so if you need these work "luxuries" you may want to bring your own.Exit the main living area onto an outside open air balcony. During the winter season, there are great snow capped mountain views! Step outside to enjoy some fresh mountain air!Go downstairs to the lower level and there you will find two bedrooms, one with a king sized bed and the other a full. Both bedrooms have electric fireplaces for heat and ambiance! This floor also has a full bath with tub and shower. This is also the level where the Washer and Dryer are located. Laundry machines are available to use for free but you will need to supply laundry detergent if you choose to do laundry while on vacation.From the main level, go up one floor to the Loft. This is where the 3rd bedroom is. It is an open loft that has a beautiful Queen sized bed and over looks the main living area below. Fully furnished with electric fireplace, queen bed and a comfortable chair for relaxing. Located at parking lot level, featuring comfortable leather seating, a well-equipped kitchen, two beautiful bedrooms, two full baths, high-speed internet, a work space, Smart TV's to stream your favorite content, and a 4-minute walk to the ski resort, it's got something for everyone. The building was recently renovated with new windows and sliders, siding, and sturdy new decks.The den features a super-comfortable leather couch with extending footrests, and a leather armchair and ottoman. Enjoy your time watching the Smart TV as you stream content from your favorite apps, choose a DVD from the wide selection, dive into a novel from the extensive library, or just watch the gas logs in peace and quiet.The open floorplan flows into a well-appointed kitchen and dining area. The kitchen was recently upgraded with new stainless steel appliances, maple cabinetry, and granite countertops. If you enjoy cooking, this is the place for you. Full-size appliances as well as a selection of counter-top appliances, pots, pans, casserole dishes, and various kitchen gadgets make cooking fun. Of course, if your idea of what to make for dinner is "reservations," there are plenty of great restaurants on the mountain and in nearby towns.The dining area features a glass-top table with four chairs, as well as two stools to pull up to the kitchen counter for meals or snacks. The cabinet in the corner holds a fine selection of dishes and various glassware. But it also holds a nice selection of games.Meandering down the hall leads to the master and second bedrooms. The master has a queen-size bed with memory foam mattress topper for marvelous sleeping. The decor of antique winter sports equipment will make you feel as if you're in a Currier and Ives print. A recliner, two bedside tables with lamps, a large chest of drawers, and two closets round out the room. But for the TV lovers, you can stream most anything on the 50" HDTV. It even has an earphone jack on the remote in case one guest enjoys late-night viewing while the other wants to sleep.The master has an ensuite full bath with tub/shower combo including hand-held shower and high quality linens, as well as individual soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. The second bedroom features a twin over full bunk bed perfect for kids or adults. There is also a work desk with pull-out keyboard drawer for those working vacation opportunities. This room also has an HDTV with streaming capabilities. The second bath is across the hall and virtually identical to the master.The unit is at 4,600 elevation, which generally stays cool even through the summer months. The high altitude generally keeps the inside comfortable without AC. However, for unusually hot weather, there is a portable air conditioner with an installed exhaust vent which can provide cooling for guest comfort. Across the back of the unit is a large deck with rocking chairs, sand receptacles for the smokers, and a beautiful view of the mountains.Tranquility Beech is located across the street from Beech Mountain Resort's parking lot #2, and a 4-minute walk to the village.
