Initially booked a deluxe queen suite and Trip.com / hotel confirmed we could add a single bed. Upon arrival, hotel said they couldn't and changed us to a family suite even though they have rollaway beds available and the deluxe queen suite had ample space. Room: Family suite is spacious but A/C took very long to warm up the room. Bathroom is open concept with clothing rack situated outside the shower closet which makes it inconvenient to dress/undress. Breakfast buffet has a decent selection of Chinese dishes including a noodle station. Location: Hotel is ＜10 min drive from train station and old town area which is quite convenient considering that most of the hotels that are walking distance from the old town are dated and undermaintained.

One can of course eat Chinese breakfast with steamed buns and spicy soups and things like that most of the time, but occasionally I wouldn't mind to have a western style option available too. In a four star hotel I would expect this to be on the menu

The matching tea set is very practical, and it is comfortable and cozy to make tea in the room at night. There is no problem with the wall sound insulation, it is quite quiet, the bed is of medium softness and can provide more support, the breakfast is not rich but it has everything it should have. I compared many hotels before booking, and this one is a good match at this price. I am quite satisfied with this stay and will consider it next time

I just don't understand why there is only one room type for standard rooms. There are various room types for king-size rooms. Fruit biscuits were given on New Year's Eve. Even if I call the waiter in the middle of the night, it still cannot be turned off, which affects the people sleeping in the outside room.
