XXIAO YANOnce the house has been moved in, no one will clean it anymore. I throw rubbish into the trash can turning downstairs. The environment is good. The door is a small tributary of the Thames. The kitchen can cook by myself. It's not too small about 35 square meters. It's just me. No one changed the sheets after staying for more than ten days. It's more like a short-term rental house.
GGuest User**3-Star Review for voco Hotel**
I recently stayed at a voco hotel and had a mixed experience. The hotel has a modern and vibrant atmosphere that I really enjoyed upon arrival. The décor is stylish, and the overall ambiance is inviting. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a warm welcome during check-in.
However, there were a few areas that could use improvement. While the room was clean and well-appointed, I found it to be smaller than I expected, which made it a bit cramped for two guests. Additionally, I encountered some minor issues with the amenities; for instance, the Wi-Fi was somewhat unreliable at times, which was frustrating during my stay.
The hotel's location was decent, with several restaurants and attractions within walking distance, but it wasn't as central as I had hoped. Overall, voco has a great concept with its focus on sustainability and unique twists, but a few tweaks could enhance the overall experience. I would consider staying again, but with slightly lower expectations.
GGuest UserVery old country hotel, but not old at all. Very distinctive. It is said that George . Bruni's house is behind the hotel. There is a very popular and very distinctive bar. The room is large and clean
RraffzThe staff is friendly and polite. Although it’s a bit of a drive from Newbury and closer to Thatcham, the location isn’t too bad. There are even public transport links, with a bus stop outside on the line that connects Newbury to Reading. I haven’t tried the food yet, as it seemed a bit expensive to me. However, there’s a pub nearby that serves excellent food. Unfortunately, there’s no air conditioning, but fans are provided.
