4-Star Hotels in Sintra

A very lovely hotel locates nearby to most of the major attractions. Great breakfast and friendly service. The view of the room was spectacular.

The hotel is very close to the railway station, and it is easy to find it according to the navigation. The outside courtyard is beautiful, and the lobby and public areas are also beautiful. However, because it is an old house, there is no elevator, and if you live on a high floor, you have to carry your suitcase to go up. This is basically the problem in hotels where you live in old houses in Portugal. We booked a suite with a small loft and a small balcony outside the loft with a nice view. Breakfast is their own coffee shop, not with the place where they live, it is very close, less than 5 minutes. Breakfast is Western style, with bread, cheese, desserts, fruits, a cup of juice and coffee per person, which is quite hearty.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It was a truly satisfying stay! The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable, allowing me to get a good rest. The staff were all friendly and responsive, making my stay a pleasant one throughout. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options, and I was very satisfied with the well-maintained hotel facilities. The location was also great, making it convenient for traveling around Sintra. If I visit Sintra again, this is a hotel I definitely want to stay at again. Thanks to this, I had a truly enjoyable trip. I highly recommend it!

The room was spacious and clean. Slippers were also provided. The villa room is a short walk from the hotel front desk, but the staff carried it for us, which was very helpful. You can also enjoy Portuguese cuisine at the restaurant. Note that breakfast starts late, at 8:00 AM.

There is a swimming pool and a big garden. We enjoyed breakfast in a tranquil environment. Hotel owner was very helpful and gave recommendation on local restaurants which were good.

The hotel’s breakfast is very rich and the service is very warm. The hotel’s location is very convenient, just opposite the Sintra Palace, there are many restaurants nearby, and the Sintra Railway Station is not far away. The room is not big, but very modern

Perhaps the best hotel I've been, the rooms are wonderful, as well as the room and the library. Do not expect huge spaces because it's all in line with the Portuguese style and old houses; our room was very small with a small but functional bathroom and a large shower. The only thing to be reviewed is breakfast: very limited, they didn't ask us whether we wanted an express or a cappuccino, a service limited to bringing fruit, cutting and cheese. From vegan (what I had warned) the choice was limited to cereals and fruit bread and drinks.

Right in the center with central parking. Very nice (unheated outdoor pool) and great breakfast. Friendly staff and beautiful location. Would for sure stay here again in the future.

A family resort full of kids, probably suitable for their needs, not ours, unfortunately. Not really the best experience for a couple trying to enjoy their stay. Both inside and outside pool full of children, ended up not swimming at all. There was only a buffet dinner available at the restaurant or some small snacks at the bar. We paid 15eur each for a ”caesar” salad, with the ingredients: lettuce, bread crutons, some burned bacon, chicken resembling a prebaked chicken from Lidl unfrosted from the freezer, and caesar sauce. Breakfast had some more choices, and gladly some fresh fruits, but no fresh juices like in all other hotels during our stay in Portugal, only the cheapest orange juice you can probably get. Even though the staff was very nice, the resort is quite run down looking and rooms very basic. Probably an ok stay for a family with smaller kids, couples try somewhere else.
