The hotel is very close to the ancient city and it is very convenient to see around. The service is very good and the attitude is very good. Breakfast is not very rich, but there are some, nutrition guarantee, absolutely full, the best is to eat fried bread, and ask the guests whether they need omelet every day, very considerate. I stayed for six days and gave me a free upgrade room, thank you very much!

This is the first hotel I stayed at in Bosnia Herzegovina and what a great first impression! I am so happy to have stayed at this hotel! The room was clean and the location was amazing! But most importantly, the staff were the kindest sweetest people and so accommodating. I really enjoyed my stay here and wish I was able to stay longer! I highly recommend this hotel! Thank you, Hotel Ovo Malo Duse!

Nos alojamos por su relación calidad-precio y la verdad es que nos gustó; lo mejor es que es barato y bastante bien ubicado. Es básico pero correcto y por el precio, más que suficiente….. limpio y cómodo. El personal, agradable. Se indica que tiene parking, aunque es la calle…. Que de hecho, está entre callejones que cuesta un pelín encontrar siguiendo las indicaciones de google maps. La mayor pega es que se oía todo y, por ejemplo, a las 5:30 de la mañana nos despertó un hombre que se había puesto a rezar de lo alto que se oía… para nosotras no fue mayor problema porque pudimos seguir durmiendo pero es importante tenerlo en cuenta.

We had other accommodation booked that was cancelled on the day so this was a very last minute booking. We arrived late at night and we're given a room on the top floor. The room was spacious and the bathroom neat enough with the usual issue of ho where to put things in the shower, however there seemed to be a lot of dust/wood bits dropping on the bed from the roof beams and the floor very squeaky. The carpet looks like the original even though other elements of the room have been updated. The main issue was that there were no curtains/blinds????? There was a sky light and a side window which only had a mesh cover, how could they think this was ever ok for a hotel room. After our late arrival we were woken at 5am due to light. We asked to change rooms the next morning and were initially put in a smaller room with double bed against the wall, but it had no aircon. And was very warm and stuffy. We asked for a fan at least as this room had curtains, instead they moved us to a third room which had aircon but again, only one window had a curtain that was more than gauze. We gave up at this point and used the bed cover to cover the window. Also this hotel doesn't do breakfast but apparently have a deal with a nearby hotel for €12 (expensive in these parts). The staff were lovely but this place needs to get the basics right.

5 stars may seem generous given the amenities and facilities on offer. Yes, it's a bit dated but it's not the condition that warrants 5 stars. It is the staff on reception. I wish I got their names but they were incredibly friendly and helpful. The young man in particular (he's getting married soon) was wonderful and drove us to the station one morning. Plus the location is great; 5 minutes from the old town. I would recommend it highly.

The hotel is ten, I was in a double room and it was more than good. The bathrooms could have a curtain or screen, because everything gets wet when taking a shower, but they are more than correct. The great thing is the proximity to the historic center, walking you can get practically everywhere. You literally go down a block and you are in Bascarsija, which is the nerve center. I would definitely return, for the price, the attention, the amenities, hygiene, and above all the location! To get to and from the airport, the transfer passes right there one block above the plaza, which is a plus too!
