Hilton Garden Inn Statesville

Rooms were nice, large bottles of nature friendly shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash. They had a really good hot breakfast. Hot scrambled eggs, bacon sausage patties or links ham, potatoes o brien. The staff was super friendly and inviting at all times. Bar drinks were pretty high priced, and only one bartender for a whole fanily reunion of people, but she still kicked ass. All in all pretty nice facility would stay there again.

Good location for what we needed. The heat would start blowing cold air at times. But the room stayed warm for the most part. We would stay here again.

Unable to reach our home because of Helene. The staff had been run ragged from all the storm crowds but were so kind and accommodating. The hotel has an upcoming renovation but has been very well maintained. I have nothing but kind words for the desk, food, maintenance, and housekeeping staff. So cheery, cordial, and helpful. It was a great experience despite the circumstances.

I can’t complain about the hotel. It was clean and had a lot of amenities that we didn’t have time to use. My complaint is about the breakfast. I guess I’m spoiled by the ‘free breakfast’ you see almost everywhere now. This breakfast was ‘pay to play’. We decided to do the breakfast bar for $12.95/person. However, this breakfast bar was like nothing I’d ever seen. You did go up & help yourself, they served you. You didn’t get a lot of choices and for example, you chose between scrambled OR fried eggs, bacon OR sausage and home fries. It came with a very small amount of eggs, 2 slices of bacon and about 5 small cubes of home fries. The waitress didn’t even ask us if we wanted more; she just brought us the bill. We did have 3 kinds of juice, make your own toast, some yogurt and fruit, which was all serve yourself. For the cost of the room ($168), plus $50 for our 6 lb dog to stay, I would have expected breakfast to be included. The ‘Portion Control’ was probably good for my waistline, but it seemed very chintzy to me.

Currently, my experience has been standing in the lobby, waiting for a room key. There’s a line of people checking in, so they knew people are coming, and had no keys available. The lobby is clean and fresh, but we’ve been on the road for nine hours, and we’ve been left stranded in the lobby waiting for someone to find the key.

Erica was our hostess in the dinning room today, Easter morning. It was a busy morning for everyone and Erica was calm in the storm of people coming and going. She made our day a little brighter and we were grateful. Thank you Erica for helping us. Thank you also for a great, fresh breakfast as one expects at the Garden Inn.

Built in 2017, starting to show some signs of minor wear and tear but still a good hotel overall. Staff is friendly and helpful. Pets allowed. Located on the edge of a rough part of town however. Had a few near misses with impulsive local drivers at intersections near hotel. Breakfast for a fee and prepared fresh. Did a good job. Surrounded by car dealerships with bright lights at night, but room had good blinds and curtains so it didn’t matter.

The room was clean and every staff member I came in contact with during my very short stay was extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast was made to order and very good. There was only one sever working on Sunday morning and she did a great job working the entire room by herself.

Hotel in itself is nice. Checked into our jr king suite, walls and windows are filthy. Bathroom Mirror not cleaned, dust all over the lights. Bed seems clean. This should be a $100/night room not $200. Also couldn’t use our fridge because it smelled like fish so much we had to spray perfume after we opened it.
