So sorry to see this wonderful old hotel devastated by a bad fire . :/. I do so hope that it can been rebuilt soon. It was an old haunt when I used to live in Stokenchurch. It has recently undergone a complete refurb. I feel so sorry for the owners. But glad there were no injuries.

This hotel has been closed for several years due to a catastrophic fire. There is no signs of it reopening in the near or distant future. The best hotel in the area, in my humble opinion, is the Holiday Inn in High Wycombe. You will receive a very warm welcome, an excellent room with breakfast , for a very reasonable price.

What a dreadful shame the Kings has burnt down. The staff are devastated losing there jobs ! They have not been paid for the hours they have done and the owner has had no contact with them. This I feel is not the way to treat staff. They have bills to pay ! This should be honoured and quickly....especially with Xmas round the corner.

Devastating to hear about the fire as we only stayed here a few months ago. Wishing the staff and owners all the best. Cosy rooms nice breakfast and obviously newly refurbished. Best wishes to everyone involved in building this back up.
