Burnside Hotel

Stayed in a group of 10 friends. Everything about our stay was excellent. The staff were very friendly & professional, nothing was too much trouble. There was a very good choice on the a la carte menu & the food was nicely presented & tasty. The rooms were excellent, clean & very comfortable. We were so impressed with everything about the hotel, we have booked a return visit next year. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful hotel , quiet and peaceful , great location for Stratford .nice to sit on deck with drink . Exceptional staff so friendly and accommodating. Lovely clean, modern rooms. Good breakfast choice . Would recommend. Easy walk to Anne Hathaways cottage .

Excellent hotel. Very friendly staff. Great location Absolutely spotless room . Stayed for one night and wish we’d had more time to stay longer. Everything about this hotel is super. The staff have put a great deal of effort into making a stay here first class. Food is gorgeous. Definitely recommend if visiting Stratford on Avon.

Another excellent vacation at the Burnside. Customer Service is 1st class from the minute you check to the day you leave. The rooms were spotless and well equipped, the breakfasts and evening meals were delicious and plenty of choice and the waitress’s were so attentive. The new bar on site is a wonderful addition, comfortable, charming and with pub prices very inviting . All the staff made our stay so relaxing and look forward to coming back once again soon.

We stayed here on our Wedding night and booked the Taxi Service all included, we booked around 16 out of the 22 rooms we had available. It wasn't the cheapest but it was a special occasion so of course we thought it was worth it. We had a pre-meeting the with manager so everything ran as smooth as possible on the day. We asked for 3 taxi's one for immediate family and 2 for everyone else, only two taxi's were sent. We pre-booked taxi's for a set time to be picked up, they only sent one so we had to wait 40 mins for it to come back and collect us! You're probably thinking this isn't the hotels fault, however it gets worse... Arrival back at the hotel, we were told the bar was 24/7 and we could play music to be told on arrival the licence for music can't be used after 11pm and around 4-5pm we were asked when we were leaving as the guy behind the bar wanted to go home!! We went to our room, the 'honeymoon suit' that absolutely stunk of sewerage, it wasn't just our room there were others and others had damp bedsheets. It's a real shame as the rooms really are designed beautifully and clean. After speaking with the manager the aftercare towards our above feedback has still not been dealt with and it really did put a dampener on the end to our wedding night, I would not recommend and I'd never stay here again!

Staff helpful and accommodating, but room was a bit noisy at night due to other guests inconsideration.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel just outside the town of Stratford upon Avon. The hotel is beautifully furnished and room had all you would expect from 5*. All of the staff were friendly and attentive to our requests. We enjoyed our evening meal and the full English breakfast. Would recommend and would stay again should we visit this part of the country.

OMG just returned home from a stay at the Burnside Hotel What a hidden gem...room just stunning, everything 5 star plus. Breakfast excellent and served by an extremely professional and polite team. Everything about this hotel was superb - from the bedrooms with their high quality fixtures and fittings, to the food in the restaurant and to the staff themselves who were all highly efficient and friendly - nothing was ever too much trouble. The location of the hotel is also excellent and it is very easy to find. A 20 minute flat walk takes you into the centre of Stratford. Alternatively you can pick up the tourist bus from Anne Hathaway's cottage - which is only a couple of hundred yards from the hotel - and take the scenic route into Stratford, whilst learning a few things about William Shakespeare along the way. We would not hesitate to stay at the Burnside Hotel on any future trip to Stratford.
