Banyan Tree Properties in Suzhou

As a Banyan Tree, the hardware is top-notch, so I won't comment on that. I'll focus on the service. We arrived at 2 PM, and they said the room wasn't ready, which I understand. We went to Shishan Park nearby. My wife had a photoshoot scheduled for 4 PM, so I tried to contact the butler we'd been in touch with around 3 PM. I never got a response, even until checkout. The service was truly speechless. Now I understand why the online reviews are so low. When we got back to the hotel, we were given a room in the second row, with partial views of Shishan Mountain and Tianchi Lake. I'm not sure if it was a 'Shishan Room' or a 'Tianchi Room.' If you're booking a Shishan room, I recommend requesting rooms 80 or 81. As for dining, we booked dinner and ordered a soup. The waiter placed the bowls and condiments next to us and then just left. We had to serve ourselves, and this wasn't a street food stall! This hotel's service is a bit baffling. Overall, the hardware is excellent, but the service is far from what you'd expect from a luxury brand, not even meeting the standards of the neighboring Angsana. P.S.: Breakfast, room service, and hot spring tub cleaning were all quite good. For the hot spring tub cleaning service, I suggest they provide disposable cleaning shoes in the room so staff don't have to ask if they can step in.

We came to Banyan Tree Yangcheng Lake during off-peak hours. The hotel environment is excellent, the lakeside scenery is intoxicating, the restaurant is elegant and the atmosphere is pleasant. However, the quality of Mingyue breakfast needs to be improved. The selection and taste of dishes are not up to the standards of high-end hotels, which is a bit regrettable. The service is particularly outstanding. Special thanks to an enthusiastic and professional guest, Ambassador Yang, who took the initiative to assist in arranging the itinerary, from checking in and taking the boat to arranging dinner, as well as the introduction of the surrounding environment. The meticulous and thoughtful service made us feel warm and added a lot to the overall experience. I hope that the breakfast can be optimized at the same time. With such an ambassador serving attentively, we believe that it will be more perfect next time. It also makes us feel that the Banyan Tree Yangcheng Lake Hotel will be our first choice when we come to Suzhou next time~
