Suzhou Hotels with Gym

Love the aesthetics of the hotel! Location was relatively convenient too but we took Didi everywhere. Many lovely photo spots and complimentary try on of the hanfu was a bonus! The staff were polite and helpful. Even helped us to reheat one of our packed food and taught us how ti use the washer/dryer. Room temperature was nice and comfortable too. Only two complains were that the bathtub was very badly maintained and we didn’t dare to use it as there were mould. And the most shocking thing was on the second last day, I decided to let my toddler juggle from the cup provided. The water turned really murky and disgusting. I thought it was the cup issue. Changed another cup and tried again and the water really turned colour into soapy water right after! See attached. Hotel, please look into the water quality… tried the water at other hotels but have never encountered this before..

Good location with a nice and modern shopping mall just a traffic light away. Checkin staff did not seem to be very well trained, however polite. Added breakfast for one day but only registered 1 guest despite 2 guests stayed in the room. When we asked advise at concierge if there was any shops selling photography items, reply was “ sorry I’m not local”… Would like to express our gratitude to concierge staff Peter Zhang and room attendant Li Lingyu. Peter always has a genuine smile on his face and helped with our parcel delivery reached destination smoothly. Ms Li is kind and considerate, noted we like to drink coffee, made effort to place a Nespresso coffee machine in the room. Lastly, we’d like to appreciate hotel management for making my husband’s birthday even more special by presenting a cake and a card in the room. Would consider to stay again if we go back to Suzhou.

The hotel has a vintage charm, though showing signs of age. However, its remarkable soundproofing ensures a peaceful stay. With a prime location, exploring the city is convenient. On the downside, guests should note that food deliveries require collection from the lobby.

Location is perfect. Jinji lake. Shopping mall with eateries and million shops, metro station, all in walking distance. Room was spacious. Bed was a bit soft for me, heating/AC worked well, amenities were fine. We tried the swimming pool, view was nice from the 27th floor. There was a weird noise, every 8-10 minutes a bang on the wall coming from above in the middle of the night for 1-2 hours. I guess we were just not lucky with those neighbors...

Amazing staff, special thanks to the hospitality team / reception team, my family and my Irish in-laws family all had a great time staying there. Would definitely recommend

The room is large and has a balcony. I can't look closely, but I can see that many facilities are old and not well maintained, including the shower, which is faded and leaking. Parking is convenient The breakfast is average, which is different from the old five-star hotels. Service 4.5, 0.5 is a deduction for room service. I asked for paper towels twice but didn't get them, so I had to go to the front desk to get them myself. The front desk service is very good, giving people a homely feeling. In general, I won't come again next time.

The hotel is very nice. We are lucky to be upgraded to a suite with extra space. Staff are friendly and helpful. If I have to be picky, it’s not too close to the attractions of Suzhou. But with the excellent coverage of their online can order app, everywhere can be reached within 20mins under or around 20RMB, so it didn’t bother us too much. And just one thing, the live TV is weirdly with lagging as if the signals are from the internet. But if u don’t watch tv or do a smart device casting, it’s fine. (Just we were watching the French Open final so the picture lags were a bit disturbing lol) Overall it was very very nice :)

This hotel most certainly did not disappoint, the stay was extremely pleasant and the views were spectacular. The hotel staff were fantastic and their efforts did not go unnoticed. Kyle, for example was professional during the check in process and patiently answered questions. I initially booked the ‘King Premium Jinji Lake View’ room, however, he kindly upgraded my room for free so that I could have a better view of both Jinji lake and the city, which was stunning. The housekeeper was attentive and did an excellent job in maintaining the cleanliness of the room. The room service team were also accommodating of special requests to meet my dietary needs. Although there was some minor dissatisfaction with temperature of food being served, what stood out to me was their receptiveness of feedback and how they provided instant solutions. Overall, the staff working here demonstrated utmost professionalism and are an asset to the hotel.

This hotel is very near to the Jin ji lake. They hv a back door and from there u can walk out and immediately the lake is infront of u. There is a big mall within walkable distance. A very nice and scenic hotel to stay if u like peace and quiet. However it is a bit far from the city centre but if I take a taxi, it cost u about USD $5.

The location is excellent, overlooking the lake. Everything is clean and tidy, as you would expect for the price paid. A few suggestions for improvement: Breakfast: The hotel closes its breakfast bar at 10:15 a.m., which is too early. For people on holiday, it can be challenging to wake up before 9 a.m. Personally, during my two-day stay, I missed breakfast on the first day and had to rush through it on the second. Based on my experience with other five-star hotels, most do not enforce such an early cutoff. Some even allow guests to enjoy breakfast as long as they arrive at the restaurant by 11 a.m., letting them take their time and enjoy a leisurely breakfast or brunch until 1 p.m. Facilities: I am sure the hotel offers plenty, from gym facilities and a spa to a pool. However, when I checked in, the staff did not explain how to access these amenities. Since I was busy exploring the city of Suzhou, I didn’t have the opportunity to make full use of the hotel’s facilities. Still, for a five-star hotel, I expected the staff to provide a warm introduction to the property and its offerings upon check-in.
