The room of the ancient town homestay booked temporarily was consistent with the description in the introduction. Shopkeeper Xu was very enthusiastic and took the initiative to contact by phone to help order the ticket for the day from the orange software 🎫 (free entry to the ancient town from 17:00 to 08:00 the next day without visiting the park), which was valid for two days, and introduced the departure time of the tram. We arrived at the ancient town station in advance to wait and took us and our luggage 🧳 to the homestay. The accommodation room has a public washing machine (equipped with washing supplies), and the small courtyard with its own is also neat and tidy. The restaurant introduced by the shopkeeper is also a time-honored brand in the ancient town. The taste is good and the price is reasonable. The rice wine soup of the wine jar is a must-have when you come to the ancient town. I didn't visit the attractions in the town before. This time I have plenty of time. I feel the beauty of the ancient town under the night lights at night, and walk into the Retreat Garden and the Pearl Tower during the day to experience the ingenuity of the ancients in repairing the garden. The one-day and one-night trip was leisurely and fulfilling. At the end, we got on a rowboat and crossed three bridges to sway and enjoy the relaxation of the slow life. It was really comfortable!

I arrived in Tongli on the afternoon of the 23rd. I read the reviews on Ctrip one day earlier about this homestay and said it was clean and convenient, and there was a good boss with a warm heart. I knew I would arrive late so I booked for 2 days. When I arrived in Tongli, I contacted the proprietress and pointed me to a road to the homestay recently. When I arrived, I knew that I hadn't eaten lunch and introduced me to a restaurant that tasted good. The taste is really good. The room is not particularly big but enough. Very clean. The big floor-to-ceiling glass beside the bed can see the small river. A little mention about the moldy mark of the toilet, the proprietress needs to pay attention. Generally speaking, as a homestay in an ancient town, I am acceptable. Mainly my price is not expensive. The proprietress not only warm-hearted but also makes a good coffee. I gave me a hot latte when I arrived. I left the store to go to Suzhou, since I also sent WeChat to ask me how well I was.

Quiet and elegant, the owner is doing it with heart. Welcome guests to experience it, highly recommended, you can find a lot of craftsmanship in the details during the check-in process. Provide meals, tea, literati space, rockery garden, attentive service and just the right care. I was fortunate to experience a pleasant two days.
