Close to Hyde Park, but not really close to the city town. Also a slope after getting out of the train, which is difficult for me with a big luggage. But thd hotel is super clean and tidy, good if you are here for quite night or so

I was really surprised with the Song hotel, and that’s a great thing.
The hotel is located at the southerly tip of Hyde park, also bang in the middle of Sydney. It and is serviced by the museum train station as well as multiple bus services in and out of the city. The check in was simple with the option to complete most of the admin online and the front of house staff were polite and professional.
I had booked a micro double room and was expecting something small. The reality is that it was a good size for any major city. The bathroom was spotless and the bed comfortable. With being so close to the centre of town I was worried about the noise, however didn’t hear a thing. The soundproofing was amazing and ensured a good nights sleep.
The real unexpected bonus was the breakfast buffet. This was included in the price and was amazing. Scrambled egg, bacon, sausage, baked beans, pastries, tea, coffee, cereal, toast, juice. Yum yum.
