Very clean and nice staff. Nice room for a good price in a good location. The breakfast was one of the better ones I have had at a hotel. The gated parking garage was a plus. The room felt older and had a little wear and tear, but was we did enjoy it. Would stay there again

Speechless, the car was parked in the parking lot and the window was smashed. The parking lot was still swiped and charged. The hotel pictures have been changed during the evaluation, and the photos of the original reservation are completely inconsistent with the actual ones. The hotel's response to this matter turned out to be nothing to do with them. My English is not good and I hope the front desk can help. They don't even want to communicate with the police. I feel that the clerk is used to this kind of thing. The area where the hotel is located is a very chaotic area in Tacoma. At checkout the next day, the waiter was nice and gave me two old towels to clean up the glass shards. I also saw her wipe the room card with alcohol, so I added two stars to the service that I only want to give one star ⭐️ , and also want to give back the warmth she once gave. The door locks of the two elevator doors in the parking lot on the second floor of the hotel are all damaged. The floor where the smashed vehicle is located can go directly to any floor of the hotel through the elevator without being guarded. It is a huge safety hazard, which means that the bad guy can enter the stairs at any time to smash the door to unlock, or you You can meet them in the corridor and fix them as soon as possible. I hope Ctrip can urge them to fix it. Otherwise, if you see a 5.0 rating, there will still be guests. I hope the guests are safe in a foreign country. It's unknown if the hotel parking lot has cameras, but they didn't ask me if I was okay when I encountered these things? No one tried to help me, and no one called and asked me, if I wanted to complain, they gave me a card to call her the next morning. Well, I didn't return the deposit after my last check-in and told me to return it in five working days. I didn't receive a text message to return my deposit when the time came It is also estimated that my parking fee will be deducted. I originally booked 16-17, and now I have cancelled it. Choose carefully, Takama itself is very messy, this community is especially messy, the hotel is located on a high slope, it will be very slippery when it rains , it rains for eight months a year, so for safety, it is recommended to choose to live near bellvue, which is relatively safe

房間寬大舒適,乾淨衞生,也很安靜,就是入住時酒店有一個美國的中學生團隊,以至於早餐衹能打包回房間吃。

This hotel was a small step up from most Holiday Inn Express properties. My room was newly refurbished, quiet and comfortable. The front desk was very helpful. The hotel is undergoing a facelift but this didn't affect my stay. Because of construction, it was a little tricky figuring out where to get into the parking lot (you need to check in first), but once that was resolved, everything was fine. You do have to pay for parking - something I'm not used to at a Holiday Inn Express. The parking is in a garage and costs $15 per day. Once parked, it is easy to access your car via the elevators. There are a few places to eat nearby - pizza and brew pub food mostly. The area itself isn't picturesque, but it was quite convenient to the freeway.

The hotel is undergoing quite a bit of construction/renovation, but that was not an issue for me as I was only there for 1 night as I was attending P!nk's concert at the Tacoma Dome. The hotel was an easy walk from the Amtrak station. Check-in was very smooth. Jose, the person who checked me in, was super warm and friendly. He was efficient and communicated clearly everything I needed to know for my stay. The hotel is very clean. My room was very spacious and modern. This was such a nice change from another hotel I stayed in about a month earlier in Richmond, VA. I did take advantage of the free hotel breakfast the next morning, and I was impressed by the offerings. It was much more than just cereal, bagels, and juice. There was all of that and then some (e,g, hot bar, assorted pastries, selections of juices and types of milk). Checkout was also a breeze, and the young lady (I didn't get her name) assisting me was lovely. The room rate was elevated because of the demand from out of towners coming to Tacoma for P!nk's 2 night stand at the Dome. I met quite a few other hotel guests that were there for the concert. However, the "regular" room rates seem to be an excellent value for what the hotel offers. Once the renovations are complete and things such as the fitness center are back in operation, it'll be an even more excellent value for the dollar. I look forward to coming back soon for a weekend getaway to explore Tacoma.

We stayed here from August 5th to the 7th.... All we have to say is DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!! Its under MAJOR remodel and the street construction of removing a old railroad track AND outside construction made it very difficult to rest. Other things. 1. they have sketch tables that your are supposed to check in.... 2. They have no security. A street person who carried a skateboard kept trying to get on the elevators with us and I refused to let him in. 3. They had NO keys of any kind and you had to go down to the temp front desk to get them to walkie talkie a janitor to let you in and out of your room. We never got a key after they said that they were down only temporarily. 4. There was construction going on everywhere. The 3rd floor parking had construction materials and construction crews cars parked all over. Plus the gates were kept open all day and night allowing homeless people access to guests cars. 5. The "free" breakfast that we were supposed to get was held in a small conference room that had plastic sheeting on the windows outside and construction people and equipment all over the place. 6. There were a couple of nice employees however their pictures in their website are nothing like you get there! 7. We NEVER got a print out of our bill........even though we asked for it. WORD TO THE WISE PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE.................UNTIL THEY GET THE HOTEL FINISHED! BE WARE!!!!

Stayed in Tacoma for a concert and chose to stay here. Location is excellent about a 15 minute walk from the heart of downtown and next to the University. There are some restaurants nearby but you might need to walk up and down hills There is parking available for $ 15 per day. Rooms were clean and comfortable and I was well rested. No complaints there. Staff were professional and did their jobs. Breakfast were pretty good and was a hot service with eggs, sausage, biscuits, and gravy. Only little problem was plastic cutlery and the breaking of plastic knives trying to spread butter! My major criticism was a failure in the hot water system in the morning and I wasn’t able to have my morning shower. Regular water was ice cold otherwise. The lack of hot water sort of put a dampener on an otherwise 4 star stay. I would still come back here if I had to stay in Tacoma.

2 stars was the absolute most I could give this hotel. The best I can say is I wasn’t visited by bugs. The dingy curtains both on the windows and on the shower curtain. This nicked and dusty shelves in bees room and bathroom that look as if they haven’t been changed since the 80s. The bathroom smelled as if the floor was mopped with dirty water and I don’t think the carpets are vacuumed at all. This hotel needs a major upgrade asap. Holiday Inn needs to take action fast.

We had a family reunion in Tacoma during the Christmas Week and this hotel was the cleanest I have ever been to! Not a drop of dust anywhere, not a hair on the floor nor in the bathrooms, no rust in the bath tub or sink...it was unbelievable! The staff vaccumed every day the lobby and we enjoyed sitting as a large family in the lobby to gather and talk on the comfy couches! Staff were very friendly. The beds were very comfortable and parking was very secure. Highly recommended if you are a clean freak! Downside: no restaurant onsite but the breakfast buffet was included in the stay and was very delicious and fresh! Highly recommended!

This may be the best hotel we've stayed in. They waste no money on fancy chandeliers in the lobby or fancy furniture in the rooms. But the room has two extra chairs, aside from the desk chair, which is great if both of you want to use the desk for your laptops. The room is spacious, there are surfaces for putting bags, the bed is extremely comfortable, my husband could read while I napped because there's a small barrier between the bed and the couch, and all of this for a very reasonable price. I couldn't be more pleased.

I have a service animal and while I was walking through the lobby after taking him outside to use the restroom, I was approached and followed because the security guard needed to know what room I was in? And when I told him I gave that information upon check in over the phone as well as the fact I will have a service animal with me, he threatened to follow me to my room. And thought it was justified because house keeping needed to know. Never in my 10 years of traveling with an animal have I experienced such disrespect and unprofessionalism from a hotel. I felt very uncomfortable, and will not be staying at any of these hotel locations in the future.

Frustrating experience at this hotel when we usually have a great experience at a Holiday Inn Express. Someone in our party called to make the reservation and was told we'd have a queen suite - essential for our larger group. Upon arrival we were told the hotel was full and they didn't have us down for a suite, rather a double queen. I asked for a roll away bed and was told that it wasn't permitted but they'd bring me extra blankets so someone could sleep on the floor (!!). Two days in a row I called for housekeeping - nothing fancy just to take out the trash, refill toilet paper and exchange towels. Each day I was told someone would be there and yet no one ever arrived. The parking garage was convenient and there was a nice coffee shop across the street. However, my nephew had his truck broken into along the street right in front of the hotel.

Stayed for one night for a concert at the Tacoma Dome (Roger Waters). Chose it based on company reputation. First time at this particular hotel. We weren't the only ones with this idea and the line went through the door when we arrived to check in. With only two desk clerks, I anticipated a wait but they were quick! Also very friendly and courteous. We were checked in and in our room within 20 minutes. Our accessible room was spacious and clean. Nice sized refrigerator with a freezer section. Wide-screen TV worked ok: the guide wouldn't come up but no biggie. The tub wasn't completely accessible. I could step into it but others in a wheelchair might not. The tub floor and fold-down seat were a bit slippery. Loved the body wash, shampoo and conditioner were Dove brand. AC/heater was so quiet! Breakfast was good with a good selection of hot and cold items. The cinnamon rolls were scrumptious! The coffee was a bit strong but I needed that. A non-dairy creamer for it would've been great (even Coffeemate has whey in it, so it's not). The maid provided me with a bag of linens for my air bed (needed due to back issues and not all hotels offering memory foam mattresses yet) that actually fit it. I assume they keep them for rollaway beds they offer. The front desk provided shaving stuff for my forgetful hubby. The Convenience Room provided late-night munchies. A bed, a bathroom, free breakfast and attentive, friendly staff... what else do ya need? We'll see you again next month!
