This was a wonderful bed and breakfast located close to our friend's house in Columbia County. Loretta was a terrific host and saw to our every need. The beds were super comfortable and the place was perfect for our needs, including good wifi! In addition, the baked muffins at breakfast were superb. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

My husband and I recently returned from a two-week tour of NY and Pennsylvania. We stayed in four different B&B's, all highly rated. Changing Times was my favorite! We stayed in the garden suite which was so perfect as you have a little extra privacy and room, plus the outdoor patio. It was a bit muggy out but I loved sitting out on the deck in the evening. The room was spotless and comfortable. In the morning, Loretta (who is a real sweetheart!) provided us a delicious breakfast-made to order. She had many offerings and fixed my eggs exactly the way I liked. I truly wished we could have stayed longer and if we make it back to the area, I definitely would stay at Changing Times again. Thank you, Loretta!

Had a great time in this quaint country lodge! From the time I walked in Loretta was friendly and helpful as she explained the ins and outs of the Inn as well as how to get to the near by places. The room was quite spacious and very comfortable with a king sized bed with warm soft linens. There was a great selection of books on the shelf in the hallway so I took some time to catch up on my reading. In the morning she baked muffins and made me a to-go bag because I was in a rush.

We had a lovely time at Changing Times. Loretta was was very knowledgeable about the area and encouraged us to visit several places, which sadly we were unable to do., We did however, at her suggestion, visit Olana -- had a fabulous guide and visit! The breakfast was delicious! Room and bathroom was spotlessly clean. We'd definitely stay again! Thank you Loretta!

Wonderfully peaceful for a getaway weekend. The hostess was most accommodating for us and our pup. And the blueberry muffins for breakfast were amazing. Even on the coldest weekend of the year, we had a warm and relaxing time away. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to all.

The room was clean and quiet. The house has a long past history of being the town general store and post office. My wife felt very safe taking a walk through the neighborhood. The owner was gracious and accommodating. Good location. We will definitely be back again!

The Inn is the most charming, delightful and well-appointed B and B that I have stayed in. The propreitors take great care in caring for their guests. From wine in the afternoon in a nice comfortable living area to whatever you desire for breakfast in the morning! Can't wait to return!

We loved this place! Our room was large and comfortable. There was another bedroom adjacent to the main room. The bathroom was also large and comfortable. Breakfast was prepared by our hostess/owner Loretta and was outstanding. Try the French toast. You'll love it! Waffles are great, too. We were centrally located to view the Fall colors. Our daughter lives in nearby Red Hook, NY, and she joined us for one of the breakfasts. I definitely recommend this B & B.

My daughter and I were unfamiliar with the Hudson Valley area and had no idea where we would be staying and what to expect. Loretta was wonderful and made every effort to make us feel right at home. She gave us an upgrade to an available room which offered more space and it was a beautiful, charming 2 bedroom. Her homemade breakfasts were delicious with a variety of menu choices. We had the eggs and the next morning the french toast. Both portions were more than enough for the two of us and we had leftovers. If we are ever lucky enough to return to the Hudson Valley area we will be booking with Changing Times and looking forward to seeing Loretta again. I miss the beautiful Hudson Valley River area already.
