Hotels near Fujin St, Songshan District, Taipei

It was a great experience. Front desk can speak English well and the service is good. The food is fresh and perfectly delicious. A little bit disappointed for a sauna staff. She guide us about the rules politely, but I don’t think she guide the local properly. Cause there’s some locals don’t even take a shower first before get into the hot pool. Even worse using smartphone in dress up room. So disgusting and so not comfortable. When I told the staff, she came in and just laughed with that locals. Maybe that locals are member club, idk. Cause they looked so close. One of the reasons I choose this hotel cause they have sauna. But I really really disappointed about that service. It was just one person staff responsibility but it makes a very bad experience for us. Hope they will provide this facility with some easily understandable sign/rules in the room. And treat non ********* and ********* customers with the same service.

This is the new brand of Hyatt Hotel group in Taipei. First imoression: similar to Moxy, Citizen M focuses on social and fun with a touch of old fashion-CD Player and old music (nice & used to be popular). Room: good size with a cute wooden box CD player. The room has 2 bottles of 'sustainable glass bottle water', 1 energy powder, capsule coffee, and 2 tea bags. Toiletries were normal standard, and the cute part is eye mask, pillow mist, wooden massage board, ear plugs & and mask. F&B: they have one bar, which was a well-known bar from Taichung. I had a cocktail with a blend of tea. Way too sweet... It's not my ideal.. 5:30-6:30 pm Cocktail time offered free red and white wine, beer, and other soft drinks. I think the brand of white wine and red wine are pretty bad. I only used them for cooking, not drinkable... I honestly think if you gonna offer at least not a common brand of cooking wine that downgrade their chic standard. Breakfast was offered by ground floor restaurant, American style. I didn't choose it due to lack of time. The location is great, about 5 minutes from METRO station. There are only 4 stops from Taipei station. For this price, I think it's higher than other hotels. I would think 2 main reasons: 1st, it's a new one, 2nd good location and brand. But may not be value for money type of Hotel. One funny thing: after comparing with hyatt member price, OTA is cheaper, which is very common. But, I consumed beverages I could not accumulate my spending in my membership points, which I don't see the point.

All expects of the hotel are done pretty well except for the service. It is located in the heart of Taipei City which makes going anywhere convenient, range between 15 mins - 30mins by cab. The breakfast are well cooked, just don't expect much variations. The service is really bad among the male employees. They shows an inpatient face & tone when I ask them for wifi password after check-in. And when there's problem in the my room, they expect me to fix it myself instead of sending a technician up. When I ask one of the old man, he quickly say 'No No', and leave. This is very bad. I will not be glad to return.

Of course it is superb. It has hosted many foreign leaders and its elevator can accommodate 30 Marble nis used in the bathroom and it's large balcony offers a great view of the city. The location was carefully chosen on a hill but the hotel has complimentary shuttle be to the closest subway station. Their staff are extremely professional and helpful!

I have booked a total of 3 nights in this hotel. We have encountered some confusion during the check in as the hotel renamed recently from Hedo to Le Room, and the room size or features of the room we booked initially. Nevertheless, we appreciated the hotel staff gave us a free upgrade during our stay. Perhaps there is renovation works going on in the building or around the building, they provided us a set of ear plug and I believed the complimentary breakfast was provided for the compensation. Nice breakfast spread. Strong connection for their Wifi. However, their pillow is too soft for me. Air con is not consistent, sometime in the middle of the night, the temperature may be a bit too warm for me. The water pressure is strong but sometimes the water suddenly become cold for 1-2sec. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel as the location was strategic. Walking distance to Ximending and exit z10 to the underground mall. The staff is also quite patience and able to compromise our request

The room was too small. I couldnt fit anywhere my luggage but the bed was very comfortable and we loved the toilet and restroom. Good lighting and its very near Ximen train station which was very convenient. Service was not at all the best, but it’s safe. There’s a security guard stationed by the entrance. ☺️

The location is very convenient, you can actually get there in 15 seconds from MRT Ximen Exit 2. There are 7-11 and breakfast spots downstairs, especially breakfast restaurant No. 2 is really delicious. After staying for four nights, the air conditioner in the second room failed. The staff quickly arranged for us to stay in the second room. It is recommended for a family of four. The two double beds are very comfortable.

A great value hotel with everything you need in a great location. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The shower works well. Stag are friendly and helpful and the location is in the heart of Ximen. The decor is a little dated and there were no windows in the room but if you just need a place to stay and aren’t fussed about beauty then this is a perfect choice!

We had a pleasant stay with Hotel Papa Whale, the building is not as new as the photos, but it's clean inside. The room was also clean and the staff were nice. They always restock what you use with the toiletries. I just wish they would change their food a little at the buffet. It was delicious but a bit tiring if you eat the same everyday. Overall, we had a good time. The location was also convenient. Close to everything. :)

It was OK, but the room was less than i expect for 5 star. Paint is worn out, wallpaper going off at some places. Cleaning staff forgot our room on our 2nd day. However, staff is helpful, fair discount on the restaurants. Gym is definitely cheap for 5 star. A few cardio machines and thats it. No weight, dumbell or anything. Pool looked nice, but didnt try it. Overall View is nice,AC works fine. Location is great, 4 mins from subway and Longshan temple.
