Taipei Homestays

I’ve stayed a lot of places in this has by far been my worst experience in years. I think as far as the location and amenities and the cleanliness everything is fine. But I tried to cancel my booking they refuse because somebody is snoring so loudly I can’t sleep from 2 AM to 7 AM. It’s impossible for me to sleep. so then I finally get a few hours of sleep I’m awake and I am packing my stuff getting ready to leave and they promptly come right at 12 o’clock as I’m already leaving, the system they have in the checkout has them want to charge me. The front desk was pretty rude to me as I was leaving I told them this isn’t fair. Also, as I was leaving, there was a European guy there was working for the place. He was doing his daily activities and I was offering to clean the bathroom by taking out the trash that was overflowing and he freaked out at me and told me to put it back. let’s just say it was a horrible night and even worse but luckily the dumplings that were right outside put me in a better mood. I wasn’t going to leave a review, but I noticed that the Fun Inn (that was nothing but fine. I asked a few people if they were busy they were just sitting around on their phones and they all said they were) had already sent Trip.com a message that I had checked out a couple minutes late. Well, I just wanna let everybody know that this could stay anywhere else other than that place.

A bit tucked away so had some difficulty trying to locate it the first time I arrived but there is a large night market about two minutes away which made the stay worth it. Very clean, kind and helpful staff with an efficient check in/out service

It’s my first time that I stayed in hostel only me. I really like the owner and staff😭😭😭 they are very kind and help me a lot. The decoration of this hostel is interesting! But it’s sad that there is no water heater and there are some dust in my room Since I was late check-in. They have checked-in already for me I really like it

What a fantastic hostel. The room is very clean and odorless. Each bunk bed came with a security locker that can only be open up when you swipe your room card. The common toilet and shower rooms are super clean. However, it will be great if the temperature of the hot water for shower can be consistent, not jumping from hot to cold within a while. The breakfast quality is great. Their BLT sandwich and milk tea is superb. And, most importantly, their outdoor environment within the compound is so relaxing where you can inhale the fresh air.

The location is very good, just a few tens of meters from the exit of the MRT, the elevator is directly accessible, the actual check-in has to wait until after 4 o'clock, the sound insulation effect is very poor, the corridors can be heard clearly, and the toilet is faulty. It should be repaired soon.

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. We travelled with two six year olds and lots of luggage and despite the stairs up to the elevator this was one of the nicest places we stayed in the four weeks we were in Europe. The first time I lived in such a great youth hostel, the privacy was high and quiet, and there was coffee to drink 🤣 I saw such a high evaluation on the reservation website and wanted to study it. I didn’t expect to find a treasure youth hostel. The location is also good. The Taipei Station MRT Station is less than 3 minutes away, and there is an elevator. Large luggage is ok. I am too lazy to walk. It is close to the MRT in the city center. It is too convenient. It is the first time to live in such a great youth travel. The privacy is high and quiet. Get out of North Gate No. 2, go to 1. Tacheng Road (cross two intersections) 2. Turn around Gangu Road. Here we are! (about 5-7 minutes) The nearby Dihua Street is still pretty good for shopping! The seats here are more hidden, but the room gets full easily! Everyone can make an appointment first, it is very suitable for backpackers, out-of-town travelers, and people who want to go to Xiahai Town God's Temple! There is no counter service after 7 pm here, and there is no guard on the first floor, so everyone should pay attention to safety! You have to carry the key with you. During the epidemic, friends in single rooms try not to arrange visitors (as the counter said). I personally live in a double room, and the sound insulation and the room are pretty good. Ps Although it is a tatami floor, the bed here is very ”soft”. (too soft too soft for me 🙃)

I chose the girls' quadruple room. The lights in the room were a bit dim, but overall it was very clean. There were toothbrushes, towels and bottles of water in the cabinet, which was quite thoughtful! The toilet is indoors, which is very convenient. Overall, it is a backpacker inn with good location, good service and high CP.

This is a very good youth hostel. It is very suitable for people traveling alone, especially girls. I really appreciate that this youth hostel provides dormitories with all girls on the floor, which gives a sense of security. Moreover, the youth hostel is very cost-effective, with sufficient facilities and new and clean beds. Although it is a room for many people, the room is very quiet during sleeping hours, which is very satisfactory. The girls also obey the rules and keep the room quiet. One surprise is that the hostel provides a flush toilet! Very nice! The beds provided by the hotel are similar to those in a space warehouse, with a high degree of privacy and wide enough beds. The location of the hostel is convenient, close to Zhongshan Elementary School Station (Exit 1). There is a 7-11 downstairs and a restaurant, making it easy to find food.
