Les Suites is a wonderful small luxurious hotel situated just next to Nanjing-Fixing station. It is so terribly accessible and connected to the MRT system. Just steps away from the green and brown lines. The hospitality from the staff was excellent - attentive, responsive and not intrusive. The lounge offers drinks, cookies and food to all and does not discriminate between club versus non-club. This is my second time in Les Suites - having stayed here in 2015. I introduced a friend and he also mentioned good stuff about the hotel. There are some quirks though - the hotel is dated. It has been around for some time but if you like the 80s feel, it is retro. The lights could have been better. You either have to switched on all the lights or none. The most reliable power socket is by the writing desk. Those by the bed were wonky. All in all, I recommend strongly Les Suites.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights at the beginning of our trip and stayed 2 more nights at the end of our trip. The hotel was clean and had friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast. All in all very cost-effective. Good location, only 5 minutes from the subway. We were lucky that the room was on the 6/8 floor facing the main street. When we were in Taiwan, they helped us keep our luggage and arranged a taxi for us. It is very convenient to take the subway tour in Taipei buy a convenience card. Attractions: Sure recommend Taipei 101, Chiang Kai-shek Monument, boat trips to Macau and tea rooms, and trips to Tsim Sha Tsui. Elsewhere on the island, the Tailu Pavilion has great canyons and rivers and the Jiuwan Tunnel is not to be missed); the public transportation system is very convenient. The trains on the island are very efficient.

advantage:
The location is 5 minutes away from the MRT station, with convenience stores and drugstores nearby.
The room is clean and well-equipped with facilities, including a coffee machine and a wireless charging stand on the bedside table, which is really great.
The room I stayed in has a washer and dryer, which is very suitable for travelers who want to stay for several days. I only brought three days of clothes for a six-day stay.
The bathroom has separate wet and dry areas, strong water power, and a large bathtub that can accommodate two people taking a bath at the same time.
The attitude of the service staff was very friendly. On the first day of my stay, there was a problem with water leaking out of the shower room. After reporting the problem, they provided assistance.
shortcoming:
The angle between the toilet and the control panel and toilet paper is very strange... You have to twist your body back 160 degrees to use the panel/get the toilet paper... I would rather you put the toilet paper in the cabinet under the basin...
The distance between the bathroom basin and the toilet is too close, causing the toilet to open automatically when washing hands or brushing teeth.
The pillows are too soft and too thick when stacked. It’s not very comfortable for me to sleep on, but my girlfriend happens to like soft pillows.
The closet area is a bit small, it would be better if it was wider

Generally, I don’t choose youth hostel accommodation when I go out. Considering that accommodation costs in Taipei are generally high, and I leave early and come back late every day, the actual time in the room is very short, so I stayed here once. It was also my first time staying in a youth hostel. . The overall condition of the public bathroom is quite clean. If it is a girls' bathroom, there is a special access control. There will be almost no services during the stay, so there is nothing to comment on.

Great service. Gym has adequate equipment for machine and free weight training, only missing a pull up and dip station. Location is great, nearby many great restaurants and shops. Staff and Concierge are exceptional and helpful in every way possible. In room coffee is limited to instant powder Nescafé packs if you’re a coffee person. Beds perfect, firm but not stiff.

GGuest UserFour-star hotels are relatively more expensive than five-star hotels. But the interior decoration of the room is very nice, and my residence has a small balcony where I can bask in the sun, which feels very good. The front desk service is very good, five-star level. There are not many varieties of breakfast, but the quality is good. Overall, this hotel is suitable for travelers traveling alone. In addition, I think the biggest advantage of living here is that there are many high-quality small restaurants nearby, including Korean, Western and Japanese food. If there is a discount for staying for three consecutive days, I think I would be happy to book it every time I come to Taipei.

GG.WuOf course it is superb. It has hosted many foreign leaders and its elevator can accommodate 30 Marble nis used in the bathroom and it's large balcony offers a great view of the city. The location was carefully chosen on a hill but the hotel has complimentary shuttle be to the closest subway station. Their staff are extremely professional and helpful!

Well, when it comes to value to money, this hotel is a let down.
The price is overrated compare to the added value of the room and service you can get.
Unless you really have high budget for hotel stay so that you can afford their suites room in high floor, the room (including its view) is just a so so (compare to its price)
The most let down is their breakfast service in Yen. It consistently gave me an unfair table placement during my stay. Fyi, I am a non chinese asian solo traveller. I always come to the breakfast place quite early before 7 AM so that there are so many empty table. The restaurant officer always escort me to sit in small table with almost no view. Everytime i asked why i can't sit in the more better better place, they will answer that the tables are for more than 2 person. Again, i arrived very early in the morning so that almost every tables are empty. First, i tried to be positive, that maybe this restaurant would be very full soon and the officer would consistently place a single person guest like me in the smaller uninteresting position table. I was very dissapointed when they just escorted single or 2 person westerners to the tables with the best view with the capacity for 4 people or even sofa pavillion for 6. They were stayed there alone until their finish their breakfast. So dissapointed with this unfair treatment. Its front desk performance during my check out on june 4th 2023. It's almost 7 and only 1 officer standby. It's a very long waiting time (since i wait there since 06.35 AM). I also cant use the express check out because the express check out box has information that i can only do the express check out if I chose it during the check in (which nobody informed me).
So my insight from this trip is:
1. Prepare a high budget so that you can afford their suites. You will experience the real W experience with that kind of room
2. Their breakfast restaurants service not really a best place for solo asian non chinese traveller. It has a great food and good view but yeah not the best service based on my experience

It is located in the heart of Taipei City which makes going anywhere convenient, range between 15 mins - 30mins by cab.
The breakfast are well cooked, just don't expect much variations.
The service is really bad among the male employees. They shows an inpatient face & tone when I ask them for wifi password after check-in. And when there's problem in the my room, they expect me to fix it myself instead of sending a technician up. When I ask one of the old man, he quickly say 'No No', and leave. This is very bad.
I will not be glad to return.

They helped us make reservations at a popular restaurant upon our request and also arranged for a rental car (driver included!) 2. Perfect location- 5 mins walk from Taipei train station exit M5 3. Clean rooms and bathrooms- Tidy upon check in and daily housekeeping was diligently done (look at the spotless bathroom attached) Cons: 1. Not much of a view from window 2. Wifi is not strong in the rooms (Concierge solved this for us by installing a router in our room!)

SsubdueBooked this room at a relatively low rate. However, it’s right at the tail end of the Taipei Main Station underground. Making it a long walk if you’re coming by HSR / TRA or MRT. If you’re coming by Taoyuan MRT then exit 6 is not too far from the hotel. That being said, our flight got delayed and we arrived close to midnight. There were hardly any eateries nearby. The guy who checked us in seems hurried and not that friendly. There was also no proper lobby resting areas and snacks provided, as other TW hotels would have.
We got ‘upgraded’ to a room with windows. However the blinds could not be fully closed hence the morning light crept in at dawn making it hard to sleep in. The hotel room had ample space for the two of us and the bonus were the hooks in the room, where we could hang our bags and clothes. The pillows on the other hand, were too soft and there was only one! Bed was average. Not that firm. Air con kept blowing at my face directly which cause my nose to be blocked :/ the walls are also thin. A family was talking loudly at the corridor could be heard while we were trying to get a shut eye.
Overall, would not recommend this place as it’s too out of the way.

They were very helpful and they won't let you wait longer when you arrive at the hotel. Their service was great. Complete toiletries, beautiful room. The bathroom is so spacious with hot and cold shower. There's a glass division, where the shower area is separated to the toilet area. Nice 🛁 and very comfortable. Our bed was so comfy and perfect for a rest after a long day of sightseeing and walking around taipei area. We had a wonderful experience in beauty hotel and definitely will come back again. By the way, the hotel has a nice small lounge and a section where you can make a coffee for free. Plus they also has a water refilling station so you don'tneed to buy water from outside. The location of the hotel is also perfect because it is near to Jiantan train station and surrounded with lots of restaurants, bakery, coffee and tea shop and 7 eleven.

Social area on floor B2, isn't obvious that it's there and not told about it by staff, but has kitchenette and lots of sofas. Beds were comfortable and big with light and curtain. Only thing could be adding a small shelf above the bed and some coat hooks in the communal area. Also it wasn't possible to have the light on at the same time as having something plugged in (could just be our large plug). Overall amazing value and wouldn't hesitate to book again in future! Photo of nearby night market and of a very nice restaurant local to the hotel - Fuhong Beef Noodle Restaurant. Enjoy!
