Hotels near NTUH (National Taiwan University Hospital), Taipei

Hotel is quite a walk away from the nearest train station (I have stayed at hotels nearer to train stations) but it is still manageable. Hotel staff went the extra mile to get us a steamer when they did not provide iron and ironing board. Clean and cozy place, will stay again if in Taipei.

The hotel is situated in an incredibly convenient location, just a stone's throw away from the vibrant Ximending Night Market! This bustling area is known for its lively atmosphere, street food, and shopping, making it a perfect spot for both tourists and locals alike. Additionally, there are several convenience stores located in close proximity to the hotel, which is incredibly handy for picking up snacks, drinks, or any essentials you might need during your stay. When it comes to breakfast, I found that the offerings were quite repetitive, with the same items served each day. If you're someone who enjoys variety in your morning meals, you might want to consider skipping the buffet altogether and exploring some of the local breakfast options available nearby. There are plenty of cafes and eateries in the area that can provide a more diverse and enjoyable dining experience. On another note, I did have some interactions with the staff at Takao Restaurant, and I must say that they weren't particularly warm or welcoming. The service felt a bit lacking, especially from an older lady who seemed to create quite a scene when handling the plates. This could detract from the overall dining experience, so it might be worth considering other dining options if you're looking for a more pleasant atmosphere.

Hotel location is convenient as it's only walking distance from Ximen's shopping district and MRT. Lots of shops and and restaurants around so you will never run out of options. The receptionist was accommodating with all our inquiries. We loved the fact that we can drink as many coffee and hot chocolate as we want from the drink machine in the lobby. There is a water dispenser as well to refill water. My sister and I had a wonderful stay and there isn't really much to complain about. The decor is quite old fashioned but our room was clean enough which is most important. Overall, we are satisfied. I would recommend to stay here if you are looking for an affordable decent place to stay for a couple of days in Ximen.

Although the hotel is obviously a bit old, but is well maintained, especially how our room is kept cleaned daily, and necessities/toiletries are religiously replenished. The overall staff, especially those assigned in the reception area, are consistently helpful and courteous. The area, although near the busy commercials of Ximending, is peaceful. The breakfast buffet is beyond satisfactory, considering the variety of food selection. I would definitely go back if given the chance in the future, and would recommend the same to others.

The hotel staffs were all friendly and reminded us to check out at 11am. No housekeeping given but can request if you need it. Booked 2 rooms and hotel had fulfilled my requests. 5 mins to Shuanglian MRT. 2 stations away from Taipei Main Station... 7-11 & family mart just beside hotel...A nice breakfast place behind the hotel. Rooms we stayed not suitable for OCD. Found some dust on top of the kettle. Carpets were very old. Luckily hotel provide disposable slippers. Light sleepers will have issue cos Hotel is near hospital. Often can hear ambulance passing by. Rooms are the same as per hotel photos (Old pic). Bed are hard but still ok for me.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and 4 days, and I have to say, it didn’t quite meet the expectations of a 5-star establishment. The elevator was notably slow, which became a bit of a hassle, and I had to go to the lobby to pick up some amenities myself. The swimming pool was quite small and didn't offer much in terms of relaxation. Additionally, the views from the hotel were less impressive than anticipated. Breakfast was decent, but during peak times, many of the food items were depleted and not promptly replenished. Overall, while the hotel had its positives, there were several areas where it fell short of a true 5-star experience.

The water pressure was good. The location is very near to MRT station. A 3 minutes walk. Quite a number of 7-11/Family Mart nearby. We stayed in a room with windows, hence it was spacious. With 3 medium luggages opened up, it has no issue. But some parts of the walls didn't touch up. The toilet was clean. There's a big table with an office chair, unfortunately the chair is quite run down and I have to sit the chair with a towel on it. Everything was actually fine. Unfortunately, there's bed bugs. Our legs are super itchy until when we are back to our own country. I even cover the bed with disposable bedsheets. In the end, it didn't solve the bed bugs issue either. Hope the hotel can take note of this. I don't mind staying here again.

All expects of the hotel are done pretty well except for the service. It is located in the heart of Taipei City which makes going anywhere convenient, range between 15 mins - 30mins by cab. The breakfast are well cooked, just don't expect much variations. The service is really bad among the male employees. They shows an inpatient face & tone when I ask them for wifi password after check-in. And when there's problem in the my room, they expect me to fix it myself instead of sending a technician up. When I ask one of the old man, he quickly say 'No No', and leave. This is very bad. I will not be glad to return.

Green World ZhongXiao offers a convenient and comfortable stay, with the metro station just steps away and several 24-hour stores nearby. The room I stayed in was spacious, very clean, and well-lit with adjustable lighting options to suit your preference. The bed and pillows were plush and supportive, ensuring a good night's sleep. I was also impressed with the fast and reliable wifi connection, perfect for both work and leisure. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options to satisfy every palate. Overall, Green World ZhongXiao is a great choice for those seeking a hassle-free and enjoyable stay in Taipei.

Of course it is superb. It has hosted many foreign leaders and its elevator can accommodate 30 Marble nis used in the bathroom and it's large balcony offers a great view of the city. The location was carefully chosen on a hill but the hotel has complimentary shuttle be to the closest subway station. Their staff are extremely professional and helpful!
