Room very comfortable, with a nice big bathroom. A well equipped gym where I seemed to be the only user. Breakfast passable with toast, fruits, cereal, coffee and baked goods. We extended our stay to 4 nights. The service at the front desk, room servicing, breakfast was exemplary. The room maid left me a lovely book marker as she saw my lonely planet. (btw, LP mentions a restaurant at the start of the bu xing jie; I wouldn't bother).Hotel is 1km west of Tiyuguan metro station on line 2. Line 1 yet to open. Two stations north brings you 400m from Bell Tower Street, a bu xing jie where there are heaps of great eating places. One station north of Tiyuguan, then east as far as possible gets you to the old Taiyuan train station. Buses 308 or 804 (slow trip) gets you to JinCi Si; well worth the trip even just to see a 3,000yo tree

Not to mention the intimate greetings, the hotel doesn't even know who I am. I don't care about repeat customers who stay repeatedly. Lack of humane management. When we checked in, we arrived at the hotel and there were no rooms available, the male receptionist who wanted to give the front desk a vacancy called when a room was available and we went out to eat. But before I came back, I didn't get a reply to the phone. There were vacancies, but I didn't get a warm and friendly reception immediately. Instead, I waited for a while before checking in after waiting for the staff member and the cleaning aunt to hand over the work. Another 900 yuan was required to swipe the card for processing. The hotel's breakfast feels like a lot of work, but the details are not handled well. For example, the distance between the dining table and the sofa is too far. I am 1.65 meters tall and sitting is very uncomfortable, and guests who are lower than me will feel even more uncomfortable. The hotel's cake table is particularly dishonest. Many things are directly placed on the top with cooked food picked from outside, which makes people feel very unappetizing. The butter is not like the original Anjia butter that has been changed to bulk butter. Added a new coffee machine, made coffee very fast. But the rest of the food wasn't as good as it used to be. There has been some improvement in the aspect of fruits, including pineapples, dragon fruit, and awns, but the presentation is still relatively rough.
The hotel's toothbrushes and room cards have been replaced with environmentally friendly log series, and robot food delivery has also been added. I will choose to stay in the future if I have the opportunity, but I hope that the hotel will strengthen its management and not treat repeat customers coldly.

The hotel boasts a range of high-quality amenities including a SPA, gym and excellent swimming pool. The downstairs restaurant is also excellent, especially the breakfast buffet, which has many options available. The rooms are well-appointed with modern furniture and comfortable beds. The rooms are large and offer plenty of space too.

AAnyaThe hotel is conveniently located in a bustling commercial district close to the airport and high-speed rail station. The breakfast selection offered at the hotel was both varied and delicious. I appreciate the outstanding service provided by the young lady who assisted me with the check-in process; she is very kind, professional, and efficient. One minor suggestion is regarding the bathroom door. While the partially etched glass door is not necessarily a problem, a frosted glass door would provide more privacy for guests.
Overall, I had a great stay at the Ibis Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

GGuest UserThe location to the hotel is really something, but luckily the hotel staff came to pick us up from where the taxi stopped. The room was okay but in terms of cleanliness, there's still a lot to be done especially in the bathroom. If I were staying for longer it would be a problem using the wc but since it was just a night to catch a flight I'm not too mad. The bathroom was spacious enough and the room as well even though there were two beds, which was good. The overall stay was okay, we had to go back into town and the lovely Mr Lee was very helpful, he drove us back to the roadside to get a taxi and when we got back luckily we met him after the map took us to a wrong route and drove us back to the hotel. The airport was about 6 minutes from the hotel and even though we both had different departure times, one early in the morning and myself late afternoon, we were both taken to the airport as well. I think if the road to the hotel is fixed and they can do some real scrubbing and cleaning it would be a really good place.
