Takua Pa Hotels with Bars

I booked a regular room for 1,400 RMB a night on Ctrip. FOOD: The food was really unpalatable. I ordered three dishes in the picture and took a bite of each one. The taste was wrong and it was very unpalatable! The free bread basket was thought to be moldy. Papaya salad, whoever eats it will be disappointed. Checked in and waited 25 minutes. There is no service at all. There were not many guests on the day I checked in. I saw on Ctrip that there were rooms with sea views. I asked the front desk if I could upgrade the room? Answer: No. There was a very damp musty smell upon entering the room. When I checked in, I found that the light in the room was broken. People from the engineering department repaired it for 20 minutes while I was present. Why book this hotel? Because it is very close to the pier to Similan, it takes 40 minutes to drive. If I go to Similan Island next time, I will definitely not stay in this hotel.

Stay in this beautiful resort only if you’re ready to be spoilt by the amazing hospitality of their staff. It’s located in the middle of nowhere, but that doesn’t matter as the resort itself has everything you’ll need. We took the all in package. Rooms are luxurious, very clean, very well kept. The resort itself is very well kept, pool, beach, bar, playroom. Very family friendly. Stayed here twice, both during peak (March) and low peak(June), both occasions felt very different, i personally preferred the peak, however one thing that did not change was the hospitality of their amazing staff! A special shout out to Kwan for professionally handling the tantrum of a hungry 35yr old (me). Great selection of food in their restaurants too. And when you need a laugh, Sit@Aon will crack you up. Will always come back.

Beautiful resort with friendly staff. Mid-size ground so I could watch my kids going between the pool and beach. Room is basic without a bath tub but spacious even with extra bed, well maintained and clean. Ground floor we stayed was very convenient and balcony space is generous.

Great location 2 hours north of Phuket. Was away from the crowded hustle and bustle of Phuket. Awesome swimming pool. 2 restaurant options. Backs on to beach and several other resorts nearby. Plenty of beach bars. Staff were fantastic and could not do enough for us. Thai people are so friendly. Be prepared for plenty of walking if your accommodation is at the front of the resort - 800m walk to the main swimming pool and Green Mango Restaurant and beach at the rear of the resort. Would go again. Ideal for families or couples alike.

Very good, very quiet. The bedroom and living room of the villa by the sea are a bit inconvenient to separate. Most of the tourists are from Europe and the United States. The hotel is in a niche and undeveloped location. It is more than an hour's drive from Phuket. It seems to be a diving paradise.

Amazing hideaway spent 5 nights here after travels g Thailand and it was wonderful from start to finish . Breakfast is beautiful anything you want they can do , right on the beach and so quiet and many guests on the 2nd , 3rd and more visits . Staff all great and always happy to chat no fitting for sun beds on the beach or round the pool . We used the spa service excellent Walking distance to khao lak and restaurants on route . Would highly recommend this place

Firstly, let me say that this review has nothing to do with the wonderful Thai staff who was incredibly helpful, friendly and no mistake (the owner was actually far abroad during his stay) We thought we would stay elsewhere, since two of our four visitors canceled the last minute but asked for a reduction in the percentage. They offered 2000 baht from the total of 15000 THB, which was better than nothing but much less than expected given the despair of the tourism industry in the middle of the coronary pandemic. In addition, they reduced room prices by almost half immediately after the reservation. Then, although the confirmation we received from booking. com showed that the property accepted ”Visa, Euro / Mastercard” as payment means, they told us that they did not actually receive card payments, So we ended up paying an extra $22 AUD at ATM fees so that we can withdraw enough cash to cover the full cost. But the ”deluxe 2 br villa” we stayed in was overvalued enough for what it was, and I would certainly not recommend staying here. The only good thing we can say is that it was spacious. I booked two reservations, and the previous one has been reviewed in detail. I didn't take pictures of the facilities in the room, but it was the same as in the pictures. Each room has a bathtub and a private swimming pool (quite large). When we went there, the boutique, coffee shop, SPA and children's playground were not ready yet, but it did not affect the stay. I ate at both restaurants, the price was reasonable and the portion was very large! !

This hotel is amazing ,the grounds are immaculate .It is right on the beach front with plenty of towels and cold water stations everywhere. The air conditioning worked really well which was needed as the heat is intense outside There are many restaurants within the hotel and plenty on the beach close by for drinks and street food also good quality Our favourite restaurant was Olives (Italian) The staff are all friendly and attentive especially Laila and Harrison who always went the extra mile to make you feel welcome and for breakfast Nuch she even remembered what drinks we liked JW Marriott your staff are a credit to you . We have no complaints I would recommend a swim up pool at this particular hotel due to the heat . Thank you Jayne and Steve
