Be VERY VERY CAUTIOUS if considering booking this hotel. It is falsely advertised as having a number of things that it does not. There’s no spa. No restaurant. No bar. But their listings on many hotel booking sites claim to have all of these services. I should caveat this by saying there is a spa, restaurant and bar at their sister hotel a FEW HUNDRED YARDS down the road. But that was not at all apparent when booking. I should also caveat that the “restaurant” is technically open from 7-10am when they serve breakfast. But that doesn’t help if you’d like to have lunch or dinner. Oh, and reception do sell a few drinks like Coke Zero, but that’s not what most people would consider to be a bar. False advertising like this means I wish we’d never booked this hotel. Having completed our stay at this hotel there are some other points to add. Air Conditioning: In some rooms the air con doesn’t work at all. 36 hours after we first raised the issue we were told (only after we chased) that it had been checked and was working fine. But as the temperature had not dropped at all, we were offered and moved to an alternative room mid stay. Pleased to say the new room (of the same standard) had working air con. Safe: Not all safes work. You have to press the buttons very very hard to set a PIN on the safe. But on moving to our new room it was impossible to set a PIN code for the safe. Neither of us, or the person showing us our new room, could set a code. This issue in the new room was never resolved. WiFi: In some rooms the WiFi signal is so weak it cannot be used. WiFi was fine in our first room, but in the second room the signal was so weak it could not be used. Face Flannels: No face cloths are provided in their rooms. Tissues: No tissues are provided in their rooms. Shower: The shower water pressure was great. But lots of water escapes under a gap at the bottom of the shower door, meaning you’ll end up with a very soggy floor and shower mat. Customer Service: Service from the hotel management was very poor. After 48 hours we asked to speak to someone about these additional issues at reception. Only to be told the manager isn’t in until the next day. Only on our last morning, about an hour before we needed to check out for our flight, did someone contact us about our issues. By this point, offers to move to another hotel were of no use. This is NOT a 4 star hotel and makes false claims about services it does not offer on site.
