Excellent hotel! Not the first time staying there. The location of the hotel is excellent and the prices are friendly. The staff is attentive and responsive. I highly recommend it to travelers!

A hotel close to the main buss terminal and train station. The house keeping people were extremely friendly and helpful. The reception staff could be less unfriendly.

If you want to experience old Soviet hospitality, this is the place. The receptionist was uncommitted and cold. I pointed out that there was a note on one of the doors to the hotel saying it was closed. "Not my problem" was her reply. Worst of all: She directed me twice to the wrong parking lot. I photographed both (about 500m away) and showed her (her English was limited). Then first she gave a map to the valid parking lot!!! Then it broke for me - Why didn't you give the map at once!!! My anger caused her to refuse entry! That was the only positive thing she did, because I rebooked to a much nicer and marginally more expensive accommodation closer to the old city. Why do these Homo Sovjeticus people work in a service industry, you might wonder? "Back in the U.S.S.R" was the last thing I said to her as I left the hotel.

For the price and location this was an excellent deal, at least in the warm time of the year. One thing that might be a problem is the temperature when it is chilly outside as it was an old building with single layer windows, but don't for sure. Shower was minimum viable version, but anything else was more than ok for the price. Location is excellent and check-in was painless and we could even do early check-in (we called to confirm this). Would visit again.

It was the worst hotel ever. thay did not have heat in the middle of winter. I can move to another hotel immediately. I didn't get money back even though they promised it. they're just bad guys who own the hotel

The room for very spacious, but had a strong sewage smell. The manager refused to offer any discount to compensate for a smell. The rate was well above 100 euros, so very poor value for money. The hotel is old and in a need of refurbishment. More like a hostel than a hotel.
