Because the flight was a red-eye flight! It was already 2 a.m. when we arrived at the hotel after returning home. The night shift counter staff was also very attentive in opening the door and helping to press the elevator (there was too much luggage and no hands) When you enter the room, it is clean, bright and has a high-end feel. I stayed at this great Sheraton for 3 nights last week while on a business trip to Taipei. My business was mostly at the TPE airport which was perfect as the hotel is only about a 15 minute Uber ride. Check in was easy and the staff at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful. My room was excellent, very large with all the great Marriott amenities including Nespresso. I was on the 9th floor and also had access to the Executive Lounge which was quite nice. I spent a few early mornings there doing email and having coffee. The breakfast at the hotel is outstanding and has an egg station for omelets and both western and Asian authentic food - well worth it. I also went to the lobby bar a couple times in the evening and was the only patron, but the bartender was very nice and they had a nice selection of beers and cocktails. My only small critique is there is nothing in walking distance except a 7-Eleven across the street. This was fine for me, but note that taking an Uber to the city will take about 90 minutes in the early evening. Overall, the staff was excellent and the hotel was perfect for what we needed, I will be back next time.

Very clean and tidy. The service is very good. There are a little few parking spaces. There is a traffic jam when commuting to work. The surrounding area is very lively and there are all chain stores. The breakfast is exquisite and special.
